How old? We talking about 1990 Foreman Old or 1997 Foreman Old.

Either way, Foreman finds a chink in his armor.

zhang could defo beat the foreman who barely beat lou saverse and lost rounds in having to go 12 vs crawford grimsely. those guys were not durable at all and it shows much trouble george was having making his power felt. by then he was a glacier. those would've been 1-2 round jobs in the early 90s for george.
but up until 93-94ish id go george. i still dont trust zhang's stamina. he'd tire eventually and george would take over with his lumbering but steady and heavy handed pressure.. he could still work hard enough then to exploit zz's lack of gas, and could deliver the power more effectively.

Old Foreman probably was at his best when he went the distance against Evander Holyfield in 1991. Holyfield could not knock Foreman out, so I doubt Zhang would be able to. Zhang has never lost by stoppage as a pro. I guess this fight would last 12 rounds. Zhang is 40 and Foreman was 42 when he fought Holyfield. Foreman is 6'3". Zhang is 6'6". Foreman weighed 257 pounds against Holyfield. Zhang weighed 287 pounds in his rematch against Joe Joyce. I think old Foreman would win by close unanimous decision against Zhang 8 rounds to 4 and 7 rounds to 5 from the three judges.

Exactly what I was thinking. The Foreman that could give Holyfield hell in 1991 I'd imagine he'd be too much for Zhang. The Foreman that couldn't stop Savarese and Grimsley. I doubt he can beat Zhang.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑10 Dec 2023, 21:49 zhang could defo beat the foreman who barely beat lou saverse and lost rounds in having to go 12 vs crawford grimsely. those guys were not durable at all and it shows much trouble george was having making his power felt. by then he was a glacier. those would've been 1-2 round jobs in the early 90s for george.

It was always the early rounds that Foreman didn't win too. The REALLY old Foreman, would basically wait until about Round 5 to get started.

Holyfield, Morrison, Moorer, Briggs were all punchers. Despite the fact that Holyfield and Moorer came up from cruiserweight and light-heavyweight, respectively. Who's the biggest of them? Well, actually, could be Briggs. If we speak solely about the power.

Yeah i think so too. Does zhang hit harder shot for shot than briggs?EdwardRevolver1993 wrote: ↑14 Dec 2023, 06:39Holyfield, Morrison, Moorer, Briggs were all punchers. Tough to say. Briggs may be the harder hitter. But I think, Zhang is better at setting up his shots.Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑14 Dec 2023, 10:31Yeah i think so too.
