Well, I'm sure he's earned decent coin - and it seems he has other talents outside of boxing. He's got a degree in fine art, and I'm sure he could find a niche there with his name to make a living. It may be difficult to find another way to earn a living, but it's prefereable to having severe neurological damage whilst still a relatively young man.
Those domestic fights you talk about, aren't going to pay a lot, I suppose if they could generate some sort of fake beef with chisora, that might sell, but is it PPV worthy, I doubt it, cannot see people shelling out for that, it's a nothing fight.
Sure a couple of domestic fights might net him what, 200k before deductions, not life changing money, and he could end up shipping a lot more shots if he is badly on the slide.
I find it hard to see a route for Joe, had he not rematched Zhang straight away, he could have still been in some big fights, but he's a busted flush now.
A shot at Joshua, would be the dream fight, presuming Joshua wins his fight with Wallin, but what's in it for Joshua, same goes for Fury.
Maybe, just maybe, he could get a shot at Usyk, but again, why would Usyk be giving him a shot coming off back to back losses.
At 38, the risks increase dramatically, If he has enough put by for him to construct a new career, he should do it.
