Cannot wait for it. Probably the most anticipated fight of the year after Spence-Crawford. Have a feeling it could be a one sided beat down though like that one but I hope not. Hope it's a fight of the year candidate. Have a feeling Bam will break Edwards down late on and stop him. Would be Naseemesque if Edwards can go to America and pull off the win.

I hope when he retires, sunny becomes a pundit. he knows the game inside out and often tells it like it is. i know hes not everyones cup of tea but hes articulate and would be a really good addition to any team.

Some win if Sunny can get it over there. He is good no matter what happens.

Very excited for this bout! The top two in the division getting it on, the bookmakers can hardly split them (Bam a very slight favourite). This is what boxing needs! :box:

Yeh safe to say there’s no way Sunny gets a close decision - not only is he far away from home, but has a style not favoured by judges in the US.

It’s gonna be fascinating to see how one of them unlocks the others previously unbeatable style.

Edwards was a clear class act from very early in his career. I remember Stuarty making a thread on him
after he saw him in one of his early fights in Scotland saying the whole crowd were impressed even when he had only had a few fights.

His type really grind my gears .
Fake gangsta gobshite, loves the sound of his own voice.
Excellent technical boxer though, if he carried more power he'd be something else .

Hope Bam makes the weight ok, should be a belter this, very interested to see how each fighter adapts to the other - might have to be another late one

Edwards is highly skilled defensively , really hard to pin down, can switch hit effectively, moves around the ring well, I just dont think he has enough offensively to beat Rodriguez, his offense isn't world class, Bam has it all, I'm thinking Canelo/Saunders here

good take on it mate, we will see. I think Edwards probably has more offensively, he's just so good without it, I'd love to see him use it a bit more when he has broken Bam down, as it will help him be more marketable.
