EBU Does Away With European Union and External European Union Titles

As of September 1st, the European Boxing Union replaced its EU and EEU titles with its new EBU Silver title.

All reigning EU champions became EBU Silver champions on that date.

There have been three EBU Silver title bouts so far.

On November 4, Oscar Diaz stopped Ezequiel Gurria in the 8th round to win the vacant EBU Silver super welterweight title and Walid Ouizza retained the EBU Silver super lightweight title via a 12-round, majority decision over Charlemagne Metonyekpon.

On November 10, Samuel Carmona unanimously outpointed Aramis Torres to win the vacant EBU Silver flyweight title.

The Tamba-Navarro and Mosquea-Trush bouts scheduled for November 25 are NOT for EBU European Union titles. Both are for EBU Silver titles. The EU and EEU titles no longer exist.

Tamba will be defending the EBU Silver super middleweight title against Navarro and Mosquea and Trush will be fighting for the vacant EBU Silver cruiserweight title,

Bouts are still being listed by BoxRec erroneously as EBU European Union title bouts. Again as of September 1, the EBU did away with both its European Union and External European Union titles. All of the bouts BoxRec has been labeling as European Union title bouts since then have actually been EBU Silver title bouts.

There's no reason to be inaccurate when the correct information is readily available.
