Mick has been the best promoter for Hughie , simply because Mick has done has he's told regards opponents and what goes on, Peter set Hughies carreer out not Mick
If Hughie would off been with Warren or matchroom , he would have more losses on his record , , thing is how does a promoter promote a guy who is defensive , negative , without a big punch and fails at the higher level , thats just his boxing , personality he seems , polite , quiet , shy even , all the atributes that you want to see in a person , but these don't sell tickets ,

So what do you have a negative defensive boxer with a shy personality , i'd say Mick has stood by him when really he brings nothing too the table , can't see Warren or Hearn doing the same for him , I would like to see , Hughie develop a killer instinct and a big punch , with a fook you attitude to the world and a Dillan Whyte turn around of his carreer , and then like to see a loyal promoter gewt his rewards , Because if nothing else Mick has been loyal to them to an extent i could'nt see other promoters doing it
He’d‘ve had losses most likely but would’ve had way more money… I mean him as Tyson’s cousin vs Joshua would’ve been an easy sell.

It's time for Hughie to take the Love Island route and then start fighting Youtubers. Look what it's done for Tommy.

that might be an improvement on his current career, but unfortunetly resembling a 6'6 pimple might make it harder for him to take that route like tommy did

now, if they do 'Escape Love Island', he could play the monster on the island they must escape from

A very easy sell. The worst thing Hughie ever did was turn down Wilder. He had his chance, but didn't take it.

At that time, Wilder was taking nine rounds to dispatch Szpilka and Eric Molina. Had to be worth rolling the dice. Shades of Szpilka and all that.

Agreed. He was a precocious young talent who could, perhaps even should, have broke Mike Tyson’s record as the youngest heavyweight champ. He’s skills reminded us of Ali and has the size even greater than that of the formidable Paris Fury.

Through all the ups and downs we’ve wondered ‘Just how good will he be once he gets him man strength’ and alas we are yet to be blessed with the privilege of seeing it.

Big fan of Hughie and I hope he returns soon.

I still sometimes rewatch the classic vs Rudenko, which was my fight of the year candidate. A Hughie return could be the spark the heavyweight division needs.

Maybe he could Okolie on PPV. I think it would do good numbers. When I say PPV, the broadcaster would pay us to view it.
