USA Boxing put out a news notice about this saying that this so called US Boxing Federation is headed by Roy Jones who is now a Russian citizen and they are not a real organization. Poor Roy has been hit in the head too many times.

Roy applied for a Russian Passport back in 2015...
USA Boxing and the handful of countries that have established 'World Boxing', the name of which has been trademarked by IBA, have no greater standing than Roy Jones led US Boxing outside of their own principality.
USA Boxing left the IBA, England Boxing's constitution requires them to remain part of IBA but they have other ideas.
It's a mess that can only end in division
