Don't think so.

We probably get like 7-8 national anthems
I remember many years ago, staying up to watch Hagler v Hearns II - there were barely any other fights on the bill, or certainly they weren't being televised, and they had hours and hours to fill and they were literally interviewing Tommy Hearns teachers, his neighbours, it was absolutely excruciating.

In the end, we gave up, and went to sleep, I think the main event was on at like 6am.
You'd have had a very very long wait for Hagler v Hearns II, James...

(Assuming you meant Hearns v Leonard II, or v Barkley II)
Oops!!! Silly me, and there's me criticising someone else for it!

I thought Hearns deserved the decision against Hagler in the second fight, it wasn’t a robbery to me. Tommy used his height and reach much better than the first one and boxed cleverly 👍🏼
You mean Leonard I think. He only fought Hagler once - doubt anybody would want a rematch after that hammering!
I’m being silly

hagler-hearns is overrated, hagler-hearns 2 was the real gem, not as much of a slugfest but a lot more cerebral. tommy paced himself much better and boxed a lot smarter, marvin had a lot more to think about but managed to adapt in the second half. both went through hell late in the fight trying to get the upper hand.

reminds me a bit of klitschko-lewis 2 in that the rematch was less furious, but just as good

I think the biggest difference was Manny keeping his wandering hands off Tommy's spaghetti legs prior to the fight. No pre-fight massage that night!

Has to be said, Hearns' defence was the difference, it was an evasive masterclass. Hagler just couldn't adapt to the fact that Hearns avoided fighting him entirely.

I remember Hearns v Hagler 1 was on after 5am as I was at work trying to listen to the fight on a train

Joshua by decision is 6/5
Wilder by KO is 1/4
Hrgovic in round 1-2 is 1/1
Sanchez by decision is 6/5
Makhmudov by decision is 9/2
Opetaia by decision is 5/1
Bivol by KO is 5/4
Dubois by KO is 7/4

Not huge money but enough if you can put 2/3 together or bet on the group round betting by KO you can make some good profit.

If De Mori can survive the first 3 rounds which would be unlikely but there is plenty of money to be made if he can survive in a defensive shell. Hrgovic to win in round 4 is 8/1 steadily going up to round 10 at 70/1.

I was about to buy the PPV, but realistically, there's no way on god's green earth I am staying up to watch this without getting on it, and those days are well behind me now.

When I think of the nights when I used to stay up for the boxing on a regular, it's a wonder I didn't drop dead! I used to go through a bottle of rum, loads of boover and sometimes even a pill or two!

I'll be watching it, although will also have Liverpool v Arsenal on during the early fights.
I was meant to be taking my kids to a Street Santa thingy one of the other parents had organised nearby. Santa visits with his elves in a Ford escort, hands out presents, photos taken, kids play, adults get pissed and have food everyone's taken round.
Thankfully, they've changed the latter to going out for food and drink to a nearby restaurant. I won't be doing that so can now return home after Santa and watch the action with my eldest son whilst having a few beers.

I remember staying up for the Hopkins v DLH fight, and being so out of it, that I didn't even notice it had started until Oscar was counted out, I just talked all the way through it.

Good lord, they were fun times, but not good for one's health.

I'm retired from all of that and did well not to get involved on the staff night out last Saturday. The last time I had coke, I did an eighth of really strong gear in two and a quarter hours.

Last time I did some was after my aunt's funeral in November, before that September, for my anniversary, and I couldn't tell you when the previous time was. I do it a handful of times a year now.

An eighth of good gear in that sort of time is fornicating nudging it along to say the least! Christ, I'd have been in A&E.

Last time I had it, and it will be the last time I ever have it was about 15 years ago, the next day i lost what looked like a pint of blood via my nostrils. Probably the best thing that ever happened to me as it is so damn moorish. Nasty stuff.
