AJs mental state this week
AJs mental state this week
Obviously we have all watched the build ups to this amazing night of boxing coming our way Saturday night.
.AJ, in my opinion, is acting rather strangely.
Will this enhance his performance? Is he too tense? Will he fight scared again for fear of getting hit?

Re: AJs mental state this week
I can see AJ having some real touch and go moments and then just knocking Wallin flat
Re: AJs mental state this week
I like seeing an AJ that doesn’t play the game or do the media trained bull
Re: AJs mental state this week
This is just Aj being himself to be fair, all that moulded for the media stuff wasn't really him
Imo anyway

There's only one interview I've seen where he's acted strange, the rest he's been very talkative, has there been more I've missed ?
It's fairly obvious which interview it was and why .

I quite liked the early presser when he said something like ‘why are you even talking to me? Eddie is my promoter’.
Re: AJs mental state this week
Just strikes me in the odd one i've seen , he's focused , ready to resuracte his carreer and impaitient with stupid questions he's been asked a dozen times already .
Hard to smile when your focused on taking someones head off

You've gotta love Dev ..... he goes for a handshake at the start of the interview and gets brushed off with a fist bump and then at the end to deliberately rile the 6 foot 6 inch highly trained killer he's talking to on fight week he goes for the handshake again
what a dude
Re: AJs mental state this week
Neither can most people. He’s woefully out of place, I have no idea why he’s up there. He’s like a fish out of water, it’s painful to watch.

I don’t ever remember a boxer who is psycho analysed as much as AJ.
I’ve had mates message me saying he’s completely lost it simply because he didn’t answer Dev’s questions with long explanations.
Fighters are a different breed. Let’s see how he is in the fight.
Wilder seemingly gets a free pass with a lot of this. Yet he’s spoken about wanting a body on his record, he was crying after his last fight, still maintains Fury cheated (due to reasons including the referee, his trainer, spiking of his drink, his robe etc.) and openly said he’s been taking psychedelic drugs in a Costa Rican retreat. Those same drugs are class A over here.

Also, no one bats an eyelid when a table is flipped. Maybe it's the fans that could do with some psychoanaylsys
Re: AJs mental state this week
It's confirmation bias. They want him to be finished so they'll take any opportunity for someone to be used as evidence for it. All the people on Twitter posting that same thing are the ones with union jacks in their names and their profile photo being of Tyson Fury.maverick23 wrote: ↑22 Dec 2023, 06:42 I don’t ever remember a boxer who is psycho analysed as much as AJ.

I actually think AJ is quite grounded. Far more than Fury who is up and down like a yo yo.
Re: AJs mental state this week
It's daft that parts of the media, boxers and fans suddenly know another person's mental state just by watching a few interviews. Hilarious.
