Taylor gives GGG fits early, with his jab, speed and athleticism.

But overall, GGG presents a nightmarish style for Taylor.

I think, GGG takes everything Taylor offers him. Then, the pressure and bodyshots grinds Taylor down. Late-round TKO for GGG seems like a very likely scenario. Especially, if Taylor gets tired.

Competitive fight through 3 or 4 rounds, but when Golovkin's superiority becomes obvious it becomes painfully obvious and Taylor gets beaten up and knocked out by the end of the 7th round.

either late stoppage for ggg after losing the first half, or comes on late for decision by something like 115-112. taylor would certainly give him problems but i think ultimately not hard enough to get over the line for the wine

conversely, i think hopkins woulda beat ggg. different styles and all that

Same here. I feel like even Hopkins from the Taylor fight (who was still good, but not quite as good as B-Hop, who took down Trinidad) could beat GGG. Taylor, on his part, narrowly outpointed Hopkins. Quick and athletic guys were giving Hopkins fits. But guys like GGG would be hell for Taylor. That's often how boxing works.

GGG by knockout in 8. Nothing special from Jermaine Taylor
