Wilder bit on every feint in all 3 Fury fights too. The lad never learned. He just learned he couldn't KO everyone and that combined, he never got over.coneye wrote: ↑24 Dec 2023, 18:23 First thing i noticed about 1 min into the fight , was Wilder flinching , every time Parker done a feint of any sort wether parker , dropped his shoulder , lifted his hands , moved the foot , did'nt matter everytime , Wilder jumped back to avoid , looking scared , .
Now when i say scared , you feint against an experienced boxer , they move there head whatever ,, But and try this when you are with novices , teaching them feints , i do it often , you can walk around the ring , feint a right hand , , drop the knees , lift the hands , however you do it don't matter , but they get startled and jump back almost panicking, Wilder done this , Teaching kids feints , i go with them , feint and keep on doing it till they stop jumping in panic , and learn to do it back , jumping back in panic too much , closing there eyes and turning there heads , all the time and i seriously doubt wether there made of the right stuff
And doing this , (jumping back ) he created distance now its not rocket science we all knew Parker had to maintain a distance between himself and that right hand , but yet Wilder maintained it for him , jumping back out of range all the time , and too far away to throw it let alone land it , (right hand ) Parker was aggresive coming forward , Wildr did'nt stand his ground and throw it , nope he continually created the gap he did'nt want a shoot out like we all thought he did , fair enough later rnds he tried to land it but that was desperation , rest of the time he just made it easy for Parker .
Wilder is gunshy , he' should retire , sit at home and count his millions with his kids , Unless off course he can land the AJ fight then take it and swan off with another 20 mill or so , it would still sell and AJ is'nt has loose or good on his feet has Parker , he still could land that big one , both money and right hand
What next for Deontay Wilder?

He won't be counting his millions with his kids for long...he's got a full football team + 1 sub nowadays.

I don't think he was ever that good. Parker would always have beaten him like this. This is a guy who was losing almost every extended fight until he landed a big punch.
Re: What next for Deontay Wilder?
Wilder looked like a guy who needed some proper warm up fights.
Re: What next for Deontay Wilder?
Who is the best guy that Wilder could beat?

Maybe he could try his luck at CW, I’m sure he could make weight

Should pack it in before he tarnishes Fury's legacy anymore than he already has

He's ruled retirement out and says he will fight on. They will likely line up two or three pushovers for him and then target AJ

he averages a fight a year now, 3 fights could take him past 40
Re: What next for Deontay Wilder?
Wilder v Ngannou would sell. It wouldn’t be true but it could be billed as the heaviest hitting fight in heavyweight history.

I can see this.
Wilder's future looks like crossover type fights, rather than meaningful fights to try and get back on top as far as I can see.
I just don't understand why he's been so inactive since Fury 3, especially at his age.

I'm guessing his head went at the manner of the loss.Syntax Error wrote: ↑25 Dec 2023, 10:28I can see this.

That and 50 odd million or more in the bank. I'd find it seriously hard to find any motivation too.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑25 Dec 2023, 13:04I'm guessing his head went at the manner of the loss.Syntax Error wrote: ↑25 Dec 2023, 10:28I can see this.

It takes a unique type of person to still have the motivation and desire when you are absolutely minted. Plus being the same force after stoppage losses. A loss can take something from a fighter too, many are never the same afterwards. Although I was never a FMM fan I did admire his ability to keep at the top for so long.

Mayweather is one of a rare breed that is truly elite. He dodged a few bullets but the guy could fight and he knew how to milk the dollar. I always think about the Hatton and Marquez fights, the guy was on a different levelControversial wrote: ↑25 Dec 2023, 15:58 It takes a unique type of person to still have the motivation and desire when you are absolutely minted. Mayweather's most underappreciated asset is his heart and his toughness.forcefraser wrote: ↑25 Dec 2023, 17:57Mayweather is one of a rare breed that is truly elite. Admittedly he didn't have to show it too often, because he was mostly too good, but the times when he needed to show mettle and heart, he did it in spades.
Re: What next for Deontay Wilder?
He looked sharp. It’s a shame he didn’t have the confidence to fight for the WBC title 3 months ago.
Hopefully this win will help him in his quest to pick up another vacant belt.

Re: What next for Deontay Wilder?
He should go back to flattening window cleaners. Box every 3 months or so.
That’s all he’s good for.

Re: What next for Deontay Wilder?
Uh, there was nothing different about that Deontay Wilder than any Wilder when he's pressured, he closes his eyes ,flinches and flails about the place off balance
Yes always been like this
So, I'm sticking to the prediction I had the whole time, Joshua does everything better than Wilder, and hits just as hard, what happens when Wilder lands on Joshua??Lol what happens when Joshua sticks an uppercut on Deontayy like the one on Wlad, Wilder might end the fight 8 feet tall
thank God this garbage boxer has been completely exposed

Re: What next for Deontay Wilder?
Please God no that propaganda was bad enough with Deontay, Jesus Christ, Foreman would have Charlie Zelenoff in the grave and had to repent, Deontay couldn't knock him unconscious ffs, a YouTube lunatic who gets best up by everybody
His resume of KO victims, were all pretty much multiple time KO victims, real low stuff I mean, not a tough journeyman in the pack, certainly no quick destructions of your Fraziers or Nortons
Remember when people thought Wilder would KO Joe Frazier , if Tyson had him that traumatised after their fights, Frazier might have actually took his soul, not figuratively, Shang Tsung style out the chest
Re: What next for Deontay Wilder?
In 8 years the fight was never made. I don’t think we’ll ever see your prediction.Cask wrote: ↑27 Dec 2023, 21:32
