Probably does. Surprised Dariusz Michalczewski is not in yet.

That HOF closed a few years before the IBHOF opened.

The current HOF is on its way to enshrining all of the boxers its predecessor honored.
I don't think Firpo was in. Btw - Here is a list from Wikipedia of who was in Ring Magazine and is not in IBHOF:

1973 - Gus Lesnevich
1977 – Ceferino Garcia
1977 – Yoshio Shirai
Old-Timers

1976 – Jimmy Britt
1978 – Peter Maher
1982 – Harry Jeffra
Pioneers

1962 – Ned Price
1964 – Sam Collyer
1968 – Jacob Hyer
1971 – Nobby Clark
1972 – Tom Chandler
Non-Participant

1977 – Dan Danielinze's and isn't yet in the IBHOF:

I strongly agreed and I'm happy that the new inductees are getting the honor they rightfully deserves even though there are others who deserve as much as next year inductees.
There is the rub. They didn't deserve it as much as other guys who should be getting in.

Eddie Mustapha Muhammad should have been in decades ago. Not sure if he is even on the ballot. Rodrigo Valdes should be in.
Need someone from way back, how about Mike McTigue?
If we have to put in more heavyweights, how about Elmer Ray?

Modern Section? Marlon Starling and Rocky Lockridge were much better than these last few guys.

You have to wonder about the process. There is no way in the world that a majority of voters independently voted for Luis Firpo. How could he possibly even enter the minds of people?
There must be "horse trading" going on or something.
Starling and Lockridge are way more deserving than Corrales and Hatton. And how is Corrales in ahead of Jose Luis Castillo? Or even Jose Luis Ramirez?

Corrales induction reminds me of Gatti's

Inducted for bringing "entertainment value".
Just a bad precedent.
