Exactly, as the saying goes, time waits for no man. Even active fighters who have extended periods of inactivity can look bad, a 57 year old who hasn’t even trained properly for years and years and was past it 20+ years ago isn’t going to get better, no matter how good he was in his prime.
Different sport entirely but I was watching Snooker 900 the other day which was a new tournament for retired ex snooker champs and contenders, that was pretty basic evidence of what age and inactivity does to former great snooker players, it was pretty painful to watch!
That’s a figure likely only 5-6 boxers have come close to making in their entire career. Any prizefighter who doesn’t have much cash left would jump at it.
Tysons hit the big time with his cannabis business. He’s regarded by millions as one of the greats. That’s what might stop this. However one thing I’d say is, he can see right through the likes of Paul as far as them being boxers. They have very little talent or skill really and most of the fights they are involved in have had a fixed feel to them.
Mikes just come off the back of successfully training Ngannou to almost beat up the former No1 heavyweight, in his debut.
It’s clear the man’s a vault of boxing knowledge if you watch how he teaches. I think if his fist connects with either Paul’s jaw then their off switch clicks.
Tyson didn’t train him that was pure PR
He had nothing to do with training him? Wasn’t part of the team?
He did a few 1 minute clips for PR purposes only. Had nothing to do with the day to day training. It was panto.

There is a documentary on YouTube. It looks like Tyson was, a), heavily involved in the training and, b), a really good teacher. Very clear, precise and positive

Well let me just say whether Mike actually trained Francis or not. If he makes a comeback and fights Jake Paul. He'll lose.

How is it a loss when he earns 250 mil ???
It's a loss in that he'd lose the fight.
Honestly if I were Mike, I might agree to it, get my check, and just lay down after 1 good shot from Paul, and laugh all the way to the bank saying to myself "You really expected a great fight out of an old man? You fools"

I wouldn't blame him if he did that.
I hope he never stoops to that level. Even for a convicted rapist, that is low.

Lower than it is for the Public to expect a near 60 year old man to fight? Knowing full well there's every reason in the world why he shouldn't.
