Feel i'm seeing the traditional pattern of lots of informed posters swaying towards the Brit the closer the fight gets, as heart takes over from head and we collectively start to convince ourselves that the underdog can do it.
Could well be left with egg on my face here, but I just can't see it - think Beterbiev stops Smith somewhere between 6-9. Levels.

While I can see Smith clipping Beterbiev with a counter left hook and wobbling him and going in for the kill, I'm just seeing Beterbiev breaking him down late on, might not stop him but don't think I've ever seen Beterbiev not on top down the stretch, he's a Terminator

That's exactly it mate. For all Canelo's talents, he can be one-paced and that allowed Smith to last the course. By contrast i think big, bad B will just walk him down and the pressure will tell. Berterbiev's footwork is under-rated imo.

For about the last three years I've been expecting Beter to get old between fights.
Hasn't happened yet. May happen tonight but I doubt it.
I think Smith will put on a valiant effort against the furminator bot.

Heart, head and bollocks are all saying the same thing right now.

SCOUSE POWER.

Such a big ask but I know he can do it. Haven’t felt like this for years I’m so excited it’s a bit daft.

Moloney on the card too, like both of them twins

Jesus wept no prizes for guessing where Ludwiczak is from by looking at him. I've never seen a boxer who looks more Polish.

Two rusty fighters gives an element of the unknown but I feel Beterbiev will be too much for Smith.

Smith KO 1-6 @ 25/1 ?
Bert been down early twice, Mundo best strategy to go 'bombs away' early, it's a tiny ring, Callum Johnson probably came closest to beating Bert like that..

Been telling myself this all week:

If Yarde/Johnson can hurt you, then C Smith can stop you.
