Abu Dhabi card today

Post by SeanBrennan »

On Dazn. 4 televised fights, one HW, Jeff Ofori fighting too, he's in good form even though brought over to lose (good article in BN this week about it/him tipping him). It started at 4pm but I'm just watching it now from the beginning.

Bazza Jones must be earning well he pops up everywhere, he's commentating on this. It's Bekdash the Syrian HW who fought last time.

Turned into a good fight, Jongo the Tanzanian is ignoring the script and doing well, and has done Bekdash's eye, albeit possibly with the but. Really watchable this. Bekdash not been past 2 rounds since 2017....round 5 next.

ah ok mate. I thought Ofori MD loss was harsh, I'm not judge but I had Ofori winning. Opponent very respectful though. I like Ofori, works as a PT and Uber driver, boxes on top of it, helluva work ethic.

Wow Gholam does Sitemela in 4 with a body shot right out of the top drawer, was the ref quick to wave it off though? Looked like it, seemed Sitemela made the count but ref stopped it , Gholam looks decent, puts shots together well and has decent pop, chin wide in the air though, Sitemela kept tagging him with right hands and hurt him right on the bell in the 2nd, Gholam just froze and staggered back to his corner

Gholam always looked in control but just kept getting clipped with silly shots, pulling back chin agape , still that body shot for the finish, elite, whipped left hook right under the elbow of Sitemela, creased him, done well to make count but ref wasn't having it, bit strange tbh

Really like him, very humble, was a world champ and happy to mock his lack of power. Not bitter at all even though his career ended cruelly (although for the best healthwise).
