Why are these big name Brits wanting to feast on the carcass of Kell Brook all of a sudden?

low risk, and a guarantee PPV and money maker because Kell Brook is a known name. If Amir Khan said he was fighting again, you know the likes if Eubank would be scrambling for the fight.Syntax Error wrote: ↑20 Jan 2024, 11:03 Why are these big name Brits wanting to feast on the carcass of Kell Brook all of a sudden?

And "these big name Brits" are Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn? Pfui.Syntax Error wrote: ↑20 Jan 2024, 11:03 Why are these big name Brits wanting to feast on the carcass of Kell Brook all of a sudden?
Re: Eubank jr a waste if doesn’t win a world title
This is a question for the British public: why are they so eager to buy PPVs for this kind of fights.tigermoth87 wrote: ↑20 Jan 2024, 23:15low risk, and a guarantee PPV and money maker because Kell Brook is a known name.Syntax Error wrote: ↑20 Jan 2024, 11:03 Why are these big name Brits wanting to feast on the carcass of Kell Brook all of a sudden?

Yep, they are big names.omalley wrote: ↑21 Jan 2024, 04:57And "these big name Brits" are Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn? Pfui.Syntax Error wrote: ↑20 Jan 2024, 11:03 Why are these big name Brits wanting to feast on the carcass of Kell Brook all of a sudden?
They may not have achieved a great deal, but their name recognition is huge, primarily because of their fathers and also because of Conor's propensity to neck his wife's pills.
Re: Eubank jr a waste if doesn’t win a world title
Conor Benn has achieved nothing as a boxer yet. His name recognition is more in Jake Paul style. If he likes it, so be it. Then I don't care, if he fights Brook, or Khan, or McGregor.Syntax Error wrote: ↑21 Jan 2024, 09:14Yep, they are big names.omalley wrote: ↑21 Jan 2024, 04:57And "these big name Brits" are Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn? Eubank isn't good enough to be World champion. The only way he would win one is the same way Benn will. Through extremely careful, calculated matchmaking.
So I actually find it quire refreshing that he is just looking for the big paydays instead of taking nonsense continental title fights to climb the rankings

Sadly the reality is that he is a big name; sad but true.
The Jake Paul comparison is even more depressing because he is the highest paid American boxer in the world, which is just nuts, but everyone knows who he is and people pay to watch him.

Eubank is an intelligent guy, so he must know his limitations, so he is opting to make as much money as possible.

Eubank isn't a bad fighter, but we all know he's a step below world class. He knows it too.
He's definitely grown on me over the years, it's obviously all about the money for him. Good luck to him, he's used his name to good effect.
