Of course, Ward and Beterbiev also could've faced each other back in 2017, when Beterbiev was Ward's upcoming mandatory within the IBF (Ward retired).

Whether they would've fought in 2017 or anytime, how do you think it would've went?

I think, Ward was at his best at SMW and during the Super Six. That said, he was still good at LHW.

I wonder whether his inside fighting would've worked against Beterbiev, given Beterbiev's built and physical strength. Also, Beterbiev has those short hooks at close.
