24 TO GO
24 TO GO
Yep , its the 24th so that leaves 24 days to the BIG ONE , so since i've been predicting a Fury pullout , am i gonna be left looking stupid , or will i be right , . Still hoping it will go ahead , but will not be suprised at a pull out

Re: 24 TO GO
nah he's not gonna pull out . too much money and the saudis aint gonna bend over and say thank you sir may i please have another if he does. fury is weird and unstable, but end of day he still fought wilder and wlad and i dont believe usyk intimidates him any more than they wouldve, and i think he cares far more about the money than result anyway tbh
might he half arse camp? quite possibly. he may not even give a sh!t if he loses
pull out? naaah

Re: 24 TO GO
With Fury's record of avoiding the tougher tests it wasn't too bad a prediction of him making excuses to pull out again.
But this time there is too much money on the line. If Fury pulls out again and asks for another extension from the Saudis there would be no back up like fWank & Eddie pulled together last time. The Saudis would discard and blackball Fury from any other big pay day from them again.

Ain't no one pulling out of Saudi money.
Re: 24 TO GO
I think he SHOULD find a minor injury - enough to have a fortnight off and go back in to a nice 8-10 week camp to peak for the new date.
Would improve his chances...

Re: 24 TO GO
I think he’s committed. He’s got the full team over there, good sparring partners & hangers on & has been there since before New Year. I think if he did pull out it would be through a genuine injury

He looks very lean in the recent video of him talking to Ngannou. I expect him to come in the sort of weight he boxed Klitschko.

Re: 24 TO GO
I’m desperate for this fight to happen (as I suspect we all are, despite what some might say).
It’s getting so close now the optimism is rising in me!
The cynical side of me, however, thinks that it’s not impossible that we might see two good fights fall out of bed in the next fortnight - with Buatsi and Azeez also going by the wayside again.

He pulled out of the first date with invisible cuts.

Yes, December. I'm really looking forward to it of course. I'll be eating a three course meal of humble pie if Fury wins.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑24 Jan 2024, 05:58Which one? December?
He needed more time it looks like![]()
Since HIS EXCELLENCY has come in now..
Re: 24 TO GO
Aint no one pulling out of 'his excellency'....... they are all in balls deep
Re: 24 TO GO
I don't think Fury would be bothered too much if he lost to Usyk - but he'd be a lot more concerned about losing the Saudi payday.
I expect him to have dieted himself down to a weight that suggests he is fit, but ultimately for such an obese fella as him weight won't give much of an indication how hard he actually trained.
It be interesting to see what muscle definition he has at the weigh ins.

they could still headline with it if they do....
Re: 24 TO GO
OH WELL , Guess thats that then ,, my next prediction is he goes home , takes Paris on a private jet to a private yaught in the mediterenean or somewhere hot , sits drinking cocktails with the cameras from netflix series 2 watching , Comes home lets them record him , getting fat and blaming it on bi polar , and depresion , so retires from boxing .
Picks up a nice big cheque of netflix , sudenly gets better , makes a comeback and challenges Usyk or AJ and fights Chisora again for the tune up , GETS DEPRESSED AGAIN , RETIRES AGAIN ,

It will happen. Eventually.
WBC are not gonna strip him and Usyk is not losing to anyone else.
Re: 24 TO GO
NOPE , but i did predict a pullout , has to wether or not you believe it was a cut in sparring against an unknown sparring partner , filmed on a cheap grainy camera or phone , or diliberitly done is your choice .
His fanboys would never beilieve he would do that , his haters will be convinced he'd do it , myself , not really gonna comment one way or the other , exc ept to say , i called it and how it happenned is irrelevent ,,, what the sticky beak side of me is more interested in is , what happenned with Opetai , was he giving the big fella a touch up ,

Tbh. Whether the cut happened this week or last week, he has to pull out here. I hope Usyk keeps the date and stays busy.
