He looked better in the face in the clips I’ve seen with Bunce and Usyk.

His silly diatribe about earrings though is even more embarrassing than his Batman entrance.

He is poking the bear who is a far better athlete, far better conditioned and has a far better resume.

Fury has lumbering size and awkwardness.
So he’s still a live one.

Im hoping skill, talent and human classiness wins this. Then Usyk retires. Dumps all the belts and says “up yours Luke!” Or words to that effect.
Then belts fragment and we can watch Fury v Chiz IV.
That’s what we really want. Get Del Boy a Saudi Payday!!!!!

He could easily look the part but be very depleted late on. Then again he's a bit of a one off so fcuk knows.

As for the drugs. Assume they are all innocent unless they fail the test, assume they are all guilty unless they fail the test. Either way its conjecture, we dont know what him or Usyk are up to. (I'm talking this fight, well aware tysons a previous proven drug cheat, believe Usyks never failed a test)
I don't think he does roadwork any more. Parker used to run with him but said recently that they don't do that anymore.
I'm only going by that statement, although Parker hasn't panned out to be a recidivist liar like Fury.

never a good sign when they knock roadwork on the head unless it's the knees and they switch to other cardio.

His knees have probably gone. David Haye went through a phase of relying on gym cardio equipment and sacked off running, until he ran into Carl Thompson and blew up in a few rounds. Naz also was the same, less running more decline!

I was thinking of Naz. I remember reading the book where he refused to do roadwork in the run up the Barrera fight but did take the time to fly his barber out so he had a nice haircut.

You’d imagine Usyk will more or less do what Barrera did to Naz. Just far too sharp for a fighter who has lost his edge.

we will see. I do hope a good version of Tyson shows up so we see who is genuinely the better fighter. I've no idea who will win

I’ve got a feeling Fury will spend a fair bit of time scraping himself off the canvas looking sheepish.

Will the pressure and expectations get to Tyson?

By his own admissions he is mentally weak and had previous breakdowns.
Whilst he has been safe fighting on the big stage previously the difference now could be that a loss literally destroys everything he has built.

Against Klitschko and Wilder he had nothing to lose, and his other opponents since have been all very safe opponents.
Here he is arguably facing his toughest test after a good few years of good living and obesity, and outside of here, he will be a big favourite.

Tyson is erratic but I'd not say mentally weak, the resilience to come back as he did speaks of strength, however self inflicted much of it was.

I definitely don't think Fury is mentally weak. The opposite. I think he has a bright, quick, mind in the ring and, if required, can tough it out.

That's why I was so disappointed with his recent opposition.

Still, the Uysk fight is now on, which is a big improvement for his legacy and, us, as fans of the sport.

I think you mean Turnbuckle, or are you referring to them having a fight in a nightclub?

Johnny Nelson in an interview today saying he's hearing rumours that Fury is getting bashed up in sparring and getting dropped. Be interesting to see what condition he's in on fight night.

I wonder when the bookies catch on that Usyk is going to run through him in 3 or 4 rounds.

What is definitely possible is that his punch resistance has gone. After the 1st Wilder fight, the only threat he faced is wilder, and he's been on the deck more times than an able seaman against him.

I don`t think its a good idea to believe any rumours or too many stories when it comes to Fury .. good or bad they likely BS.

Fury to look slimmer than expected, with pipe-cleaner arms and legs hanging off a body looking like a big sack of spuds.
