I’ve heard he will be taking on Conor Benn in a catchweight no frills barn burner

In Saudi

Undercard of Roussy v Gyllenhall. (Gedit?)

Got a chance 🤔

hahahaah fair play to TBA, will fight anyone anywhere at no notice. Button Moon is a decent location, they've not staged anything since 1988 but were well regarded. Mr and Mrs Spoon were good people.

God help UKAD with those two fighting, one will claim pregnancy and the other a random evil farmer infecting their meat. Hughie will claim to be in the shape of his life then rock up looking like a Kwik Save sausage and Conor will actually rock up with a needle hanging out of his arm carrying his 270 pages of vindication.

Will deffo pay PPV for this, we need to support the likes of Conor who came up the hard way.

I've got a feeling that Benn's going to prove his innocence. :witzend:

Doesn't look like there is TV, so won't be able to bring in a decent opponent, even if Hughie fights for free.
While it's his first one back, back is the right word, backwards!
I really fancied him to do something, Junior world champ, shown in flashes, like against Sam Sexton, that he was well above domestic level.
However despite being better than domestic level, I can't see him going past that

Schooled him in how to not throw a punch for 12 rounds?
What a borefest that fight was, and Parker is boring at the best of times.

That's odd I looked before and there was a show in Rotherham at Magna this Wednesday coming and his name was on there. I've just checked again and the show has gone. Maybe a glitch in the matrix

No worries. I used to think Huggie had some potential (man-strength pending) until that fight which was his big chance to win the easiest belt.

I do think Hughie is decent, has just been decimated by health conditions. I know I mock the man strength comments but he took hard fights young vs Parker and Povetkin. He has looked good before, he was impressive against Sexton. What do you all think of Hughie? I'd just love to see him garner some momentum. He's still in his 20s and has been a pro for over a decade.

I was seriously thinking of him being a future world champion right up until the Parker fight just over 5 years ago. He said his health problems were sorted, the weeping acne on his back was probably just down to dining with Tyson too much.
But even against Wach he was boring, and that doesn't put bums on seats.
The Hughie Fury fan club doesn't even extend to his own family.

Good post. No issue with the PED comment or the rest, but the acne was a proper issue that seriously hampered him, it was a severe immune system level issue that PEDS don't just cause on their own (I say this as someone who knows PEDS and sebaceous gland issues well if nothing else).
