Nike Air is Cockney rhyming slang for Jordan (it just is, so no back answers). Anyway, I watched Simon Jordan interviewing Kell Brook and Carl Froch. They were both good interviews: the hour went by quite fast and it wasn't the usual gear. So, Jordan is good at what he does. At the same time, he tends to talk too much and he cuts the other guy off, which is a tad irritating and unnecessary in my book.
Anyone else watch these interviews? Up Front they're called. If so, any recommendations? I definitely recommend the two above.

Except it doesn’t rhyme :-)
Re: Interview with Nike Air
I'm with you. First rules of interviewing. Always allow your subject to speak and never interrupt unless absolutely necessary. Seasoned pros always wait until there is a natural break in conversation imo. Lastly 'Nike' does seem to take forever to ask a question. I'm sure we are not the only ones to make these observationsNoxy wrote: ↑28 Jan 2024, 14:22 Nike Air is Cockney rhyming slang for Jordan (it just is, so no back answers). I've watched quite a few of his interviews, the BJS one was good too. Jordan/Nike Air can be a wally but he's really good and I like listening to him.

Re: Interview with Nike Air
if he could spend less time waffling, interrupting, and using long words he's heard Russell Brand say,
he'd be more bearable. but then he wouldn't be Simon Jordan. I'll listen to it if I'm ever in a car, which is almost never, but only if it's White and Jordan and someone else to dilute him. I don't hate him though!

Listened to this today, really enjoyed it. I loved the honesty from Kell saying he just doesn't like Eubank Jr and it might be cos he's smarter than him. Refreshing. I thought Kell came across well.
