Re: Shannon Briggs vs. Tony Tucker
Prime Tucker beats Briggs up in every way.
If we speak about the badly faded version of Tucker, who was stopped by Johnny Ruiz in 1997 - Briggs stops this version early.

Re: Shannon Briggs vs. Tony Tucker
Tucker would outbox Briggs behind his quick jabs and combinations to take a decision.
Re: Shannon Briggs vs. Tony Tucker
A Tucker "off the junk" wins this one for me.......better boxer and also a pretty big man who could box, move, hit some as well and protect himself. Tucker went 12 rounds with a near prime Tyson and he was not living like a monk
Feels like another case of an 80's "party boy" who had all the talent being drawn into a fight with some of the lesser American talent that came after him.
Tucker's record btw - and despite the end of career, I will take the cheque losses - remains very decent
