Does he? Was tested only by Zhang and he surely wasn't feeling normal in that match

Hrgovic vs Usyk is a good fight.

Fury was never going to fight Usyk anyway - let's not forget, he avoided him all last year.

As pissed as I am, that wouldn't be too bad.
At least the undisputed champ wouldn't be stripped immediately, if the fight ever happens.

This would actually be a better fight. Let’s be realistic. Fury is a paper champion and should have been stripped by the wbc years ago.

Yes, Parker deserves some kind of title shot.

Would love to see Parker - Hrgovic. Usyk won't be available for at least eight months and if Fury wins he won't fight the rest of the year!

But instead Hrgovic will wait for however long it takes. And the Parker -Zhang winner will wait until after that one....

It is a good match up. Hrgovic targets the body well and delivers blows with force and skill. Usyk has been hurt by legal and illegal by punches to the body before in the amateurs and professional ranks. To say he does not take them well and Hrgovic is a good body puncher are both true.

Big, strong, long, aggressive to the point where mere jab won't or counter right won't deter him and skilled he will knock Usyk out.

I do not discount that Usky is a better boxer, but the match up here favor Hrgovic. Let's see if this fight happens.

If good body shots are enough, I'd be a threat for Usyk too.
Body shots are disgusting, nobody likes them.

Usyk - Hrgovic won’t happen this year. (Unless Fury pulles out of the title unification)

In the Usyk/Fury - Helwani interview yesterday Turki Al-Sheikh talked about the plans for the rest of the year:
- If Ngannou wins he would probable do MMA till Fury and Usyk have fought 2 times.
- If AJ wins he would fight Hrgovic (probably for the vacant IBF belt) while they are waiting for the Fury/Usyk rematch, because he IBF won’t wait.

The winners would than fight each other in 2025.

He also made a public offer to Hrgovic to fight on the AJ vs Ngannou undercard. He can choose between 6 opponents. Kabayel, Sanchez, Bakole, Anderson, Dubois or Miller.

Hrgovic has earned his shot the hard way. They don't come tougher than Mark Demori and Demsey McKean. Young Demori`s record was studded with top level names. And Mckean`s ability to hold for dear life makes him tricky for anyone. Hrgovic`s standout performance was his shutout points win over Zhang. He was barely troubled and showed his skills to the maximum. Absolutely no one contested the decision...and it's hard to argue that Zhang even won a round.

As for Usyk, his back to back wins over Joshua were edge of the seat rollercoaster rides. Joshua was coming forward and attacking like jack Dempsey against Willard but Usyk answered like for like with a pair of all out attacking performances that left the world stunned. His last `defence` against Dubois was a text book example of poise and precision in the face of the worst foul blows since Golota. Dubois was a shadow of the fighter who had destroyed the leader contender , mighty Trevor Bryan. :box:
