That fight was actually discussed back in the days, when Tszyu was pondering a move to welterweight. I believe, that was after Spinks beat Mayorga and became undisputed at 147.
Let's say, Kostya decides to finally try himself outside 140 and moves up to fight Spinks to try to become a two-time undisputed.
How do you expect it to go?

give me cory to be big and slick enough to pull off the upset near the end of kostya's career
Re: Cory Spinks vs Kostya Tszyu (147)
Yeah if it were Kostya jumping up to the weight class in his peak years I think he's good enough to beat Spinks, however you're right that by the time he would've been entertaining a fight at Welterweight he would've been past his best.
Re: Cory Spinks vs Kostya Tszyu (147)
Either Tszyu pounded the southpaw Spinks for the late round stoppage or Spinks would have to outbox Tszyu behind his southpaw jabs and counter combinations on the outside to take a decision.

Tszyu, as soon as he finds his range he knocks Spinks out.
