An embarrasment. Needs to go away
Re: Latest dirge from John Fury
cant wait for frochs reply. it'll be hilarious.
Re: Latest dirge from John Fury
John needs to remember that he wasn't very good at boxing the first time around. Maybe gouging another man's eye out has given him an inflated sense of his own hardness.

Be brilliant if Froch said ok then let's do it. Obviously his arse would prolapse. Won't fight tough older fellas but will take on one of the hardest would champs this country has ever produced. I course he will.

That did make me chuckle, think he may over value his marketability a bit.si7dog7 wrote: ↑05 Feb 2024, 17:1293,000Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑05 Feb 2024, 17:10 Be brilliant if Froch said ok then let's do it. Obviously his arse would prolapse.

Re: Latest dirge from John Fury
More likely to fight at Appleby Horse Fair in front of 93 people against someone who can’t fight and is about 3 stone lighter….
Re: Latest dirge from John Fury
John would struggle to sell the 3,000.si7dog7 wrote: ↑05 Feb 2024, 17:1293,000Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑05 Feb 2024, 17:10 Be brilliant if Froch said ok then let's do it. Obviously his arse would prolapse.
Re: Latest dirge from John Fury
Please, please Carl Froch, if you are reading, take this clown up on the offer and give him an almighty pasting.
I will love Froch forever if he did that.

Fury Sr just loves the sound of his own voice, and craves attention.
What's he going to do when his son retires? None of this other progeny seem to be really much cop, what will he do to get the endless attention he craves?

Re: Latest dirge from John Fury
John was very familiar with the canvas as a professional. He probably hasn't been chinned since then due to his reputation but in terms of this fight doing numbers, all I can say is that I'd have no problems paying a few quid to see John get leathered to the canvas.

Re: Latest dirge from John Fury
John Fury is the biggest embarassment in boxing. He's in his 60s yet acts like a complete manchild.
Re: Latest dirge from John Fury
John did add the bit about it being a business and having to make sense ... His get out clause just in case Froch agreed right there
Typical Fury fight offer then
And yes - Froch will enjoy responding

I think Froch today, 14 stone as he is would beat Fury when he was boxing.

Tyson avoided Usyk and AJ for as long as possible.
Now expect John to do the same with Egan/Theo/Negus.

he is the grandad version of the gobby chav we have all seen outside a bar shouting his mouth off whilst being held back by his mates .The Gratest wrote: ↑06 Feb 2024, 05:35Tyson avoided Usyk and AJ for as long as possible.

Re: Latest dirge from John Fury
Surely he`s on a wind up here.
Even he isn`t so deluded that he believes Froch would ever fight him in a ring.
I wouldn`t want to get on the wrong side of big John, but anyone with a boxing history like Froch would treat him to an unhealthy shellacking

You can bet though John would insist that it was a body spar only, either that, or Froch would have to have both arms surgically removed prior to the bout before he accepted the offer.
