I am a big fan of Joe Calzaghe and believe he is truly a world-class boxer. What do you say to those who accuse him (and you by association) of dodging the biggest American names over the years?

After watching the Naseem Hamed-Kevin Kelley fight again the other night, I was left wondering what exactly went wrong with Naz. I thought he would beat Barrera hands down and go on to become one of the greats.

That's one of the great things about Woods winning last weekend though: It scuppered (for the what, 3rd time?) the Calzaghe-Johnson fight (Which I was never that keen to see anyway), so there's still a chance we can see Calzaghe against the Kessler-Beyer winner.

I just hope that ITV's ringside interviewer, whoever it may be, asks Calzaghe what he thinks about the other supermiddleweight title fight that was happening that night when he's beaten Bika. Actually, I might spring for ringside tickets just so I can shout it myself. It'd be a disgrace if nobody mentioned it: Like asking Jose Mourinho if he thinks the likes of Charlton are a danger, but pretending Liverpool, Arsenal and United don't exist.

I'd say the opposite would be more likely

As in if Kessler looks very good then Calzaghe will jump straight to 175 whereas if he looks poor then Calzaghe/Warren will see it as an easy fight for a high reward

Hopefully Woods will get a fight with Jones/Tarver (or whoever else Hobson is supposed to be talking to) so Calzaghe will be more or less forced to stay at 168
