117-109 Buatsi, terrific fight fought in the right spirit, plenty effort, no spoiling or theatrics, Buatsi quicker out the blocks, targeted the body from the start, invested there all night, put some quality combinations together, Azeez showed his best work in the second half, bridged the gap slightly, he's all heart, some of the exchanges were top drawer, nobody looking to hold up close, both punched their way out of trouble

Azeez hard done by in the 11th with 2 knockdowns against home, feet slipped both time, don't even think punch landed at all for second one, after that it was a cert he needed a KO in the last round but it was Buatsi who nearly got it, opened Azeez up and looked like he purposely never went for finish after Azeez retreated to the ropes, great fight, good cards, can't complain, kudos to both men

Aye, that was great. I also felt Buatsi might've chosen to hold off in the final seconds, but a classy move if so.

they arent a package, buatsi is a level or two above dan and might have something to give the top some thoughts, though a bit one paced i think. dan is more craig richards level. would be cool to see him get his euro back and go on defending that

Joshua, keeps Dan in the ring in order to give him even more praise. What a lovely person. Let's remember the level of quality a human Joshua has. He paid a pro's brain scan and licence fees a few years back and did so anonymously. Both are credits to the sport.

Surely Buatsi AND Yarde make more money for less risk fighting each other than the Big 2...?

Good fight. Had Buatsi winning comfortably without the two knockdowns. Great respect shown by both fighters.

Something has to be done about the painted/synthetic advertising on the ring apron. Not right that fighters should be slipping or losing their footing.

Just watched some Ben whitticker highlights. I hope the next person he does that to just head buts him. Or dick shots him, or spear tackles him.

You’re a 1-100 favourite fighting a plummber taking the piss… fornicate I would love to see someone just fornicate him up with fouls when he does that.

Same here. A total pudendum. He'll get it some day and I hope it's from someone like Bert in a bad mood.

Not a big fan of whitakers fannying on, but for context that lad he fought wasnt a terrible match up for his 6th fight. Azeez and parker both fought him fairly recently (azeez won on pts).

gardia been in with names but has 0 good results and is 41. for parker and dan, he was a beneath the radar tickover between much bigger fights, but whittaker's being built as a star on guys like that. not every olympian will be moved like loma but whittaker's almost 27 and with his hype , talent, and deep am background would be nice to see more ambition.

doesnt have to be a world killer. how about the winner of the jake barton-leon willings central area ttle fight next, then ricky summers later in 24? if they wanna stick international, what about fighting someone like steve geffrard, marek matya, ezquil maderna, bilel latreche, or azizbek abdugofurov this year? i think that in 2024 he should, at minimum, fight someone near the level of those guys. it's not a big deal yet but i think it will be if 2025 comes and he's just stagnated.

speaking of olympians, what's going on with pat mccormick, hasnt fought in 7 months and nothing on the schedule that i see

Mccormick got injured back end of last year. I think he was due to fight the lad benn fought at weekend, which shows you the pace they were looking to fast track him.

Hopefully out soon. North east could do with some decent shows.

Was a rumour he was being lined up for Ritson.
