You need to look through Anthony Yarde's record to really appreciate how fckn sh1t it is, the fact that he didn't learn from the Kovalev fight that he can't feast on stiffs in preparation for a world champion cancels his efforts in my mind, done the usual Eastern European binman before Beterbiev as well and look at the opponent tonight, HE'S FKN DOING IT AGAIN

What's Warren playing at to keep on allowing this,? He should've halted this years ago, it's no as if Yarde's a ticket seller, by all means play it safe but get some names in, former champs, these dudes are anonymous

Frig me that replay of the shot that did it. His nose looks like it broke into 5 pieces.

I've had my nose broken like that in a competition, there is bugger all you can do other than try to stem it and get it reset. So painful too as it often buggers the structures beyond the cartilage. Get that man some decent painkillers

Agreed. Thing is Yarde is / can be pretty explosive but as you say, the rest of his record is average at best......and who is the Serbian guy, tonight?

Can't help thinking 'Allegedly' is taking the p*** a bit. A few fillers, then into a (losing) money fight.

Stefy Bull in the corner? He was a decent, little fighter back in his day.

Demolition job from Noakes, aggressive start putting it on Sylvester, 2 rounds in he was already under the cosh, body shots done him in the 3rd round, left hand for first on, crippled him didn't thing he'd get up but credit he did , got done again by a right hand downstairs , knew Noakes would get to him in the 4th , heavy bombardment, head shot this time putting Sylvester down, towel come in, Sylvester incredibly tough but Noakes in thr mood tonight, British and Commonwealth lightweight champ, could be going places, he's box office,.liked him for a while now

I doubt Noakes can do this at elite level, but he’s an absolute beast on the domestic scene.
Just walk thru everything at this level… :bag:

Noakes looks a good prospect.

Heavy handed and strong (legs are like tree trunks.).

First time I have seen him. Like any prospect, it will be interesting to see what he is like when he gets clipped but he looks pretty sturdy.

He’s had a very weird career anthony Yarde , but I find it hard to criticise any of these knock overs he gets, because he’s already had two of the hardest world title fights you could ever wish for
