He can barely manage 1 fight a year, is he going to be fighting into his 40s then?Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑09 Feb 2024, 12:23Tomorrow he'll put one out saying he'll retire, off his napper doesn't no of he's coming or going

I think he doesn't know day to day what he thinks, he's very erratic isn't he. Can't have been stable having John as your father though.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑09 Feb 2024, 16:44He can barely manage 1 fight a year, is he going to be fighting into his 40s then?Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑09 Feb 2024, 12:23Tomorrow he'll put one out saying he'll retire, off his napper doesn't no of he's coming or going

I’m sure it’s been covered but I’m lazy AF… is it the same eye as the Wallin fight cut?

“There are all these stories Fury’s had a terrible camp, he’s been dropped in camp, he’s past it, the Ngannou fight shows where he’s at.
“Well, what if he’s had a great camp, he’s high flying, he’s going to show the world what he’s capable of and beat this Ukrainian guy to get the belts, then he gets cut.
“That’s going to be even harder to get over mentally and emotionally than having a stinker of a camp and trying to turn it rounding day, so we might never see Fury fight again, who knows.”

How much is Tyson Fury worth? If he has a private jet valued at £100m he must have a few quid in the bank.

Sports media publication Sportico released its "100 Highest-Paid Athletes in the World" list this week, and six fighters are featured on the list.
Canelo Alvarez was the highest-ranked boxer on the list at No. 17 with a total of $66 million in earnings across the calendar year of 2023.
Anthony Joshua was ranked No. 24 with $55 million, followed by Jake Paul at No. 37 with $47 million, Gervonta Davis at No. 54 with $42.5 million, Ryan Garcia at No. 58 with $40.5 million and Tyson Fury at No. 64 with $40 million.
The figures factored both the fighter’s purses and their endorsement deals. Investment income was not included.
Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo topped the list at $275 million.
The top 100 list can be seen in its entirety here.
That's just 2023 alone.

It's the tax that usually gets them, especially in the states. He put a pic up the other day, if a $18m cheque thay he wrote to the IRS. Said this what he pays in retirement, imagine what he paid when he was active haha. We all know his history and settlements with the IRS.jwfg wrote: ↑10 Feb 2024, 09:33It's the tax that usually gets them, especially in the states. I think John and Tyson have lost the plot a bit and are getting tiresome.
Peter Fury's comment in a recent interview re Fury vs Uysk was quite telling:
" I've never seen a fight taking so long, in my life. I think I will be dead by the time that fight gets made".

The $10,000,000 fine for pulling out is nonesense surely ? imagine if Fury turned up for the fight with a broken hand and it ended in the first round, how would that effect those that purchase the PPV and everyone else who ploughs a load of cash into it ? the whole thing has turned into a shite show.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk | PPV - 18 May 2024
We can only hope that it happens. Still a lot of the year to go through.
This is boxing, however, so, as we know, stuff happens hahaha. Its a fight that needs to happen, but stylistically, can't imagine it being scintillating but you can never tell.

How does Uysk motivate himself for another training camp where there is more than an outside chance of Fury pulling out again?

Thats all bollocks , wheres the 10 million going to come from , Tysons purse for a fight he did'nt have , from his own bank account , good luck with that one , A fine from some foreign sheik with no way of enforcing it , and in any case he would have a dozen doctors notes , its all BOLLOCKS514126 wrote: ↑11 Feb 2024, 06:15 The $10,000,000 fine for pulling out is nonesense surely ? imagine if Fury turned up for the fight with a broken hand and it ended in the first round, how would that effect those that purchase the PPV and everyone else who ploughs a load of cash into it ? the whole thing has turned into a shite show.

It wouldn’t be the biggest surprise to see Fury’s career end in a hail of litigation.

Do you believe that David Haye cut himself to avoid Fury? You asked me to PM you, I did, and then didn't answer. Alex Krassyuk's thoughts on Fury's cut:
"The fact that the dissection is real is a fact. But as for the nature of this dissection, certain questions may arise here. I don’t believe that this was done on purpose to avoid a fight with Usyk. I'm more inclined towards the disorganization and lack of discipline that Fury has.
And regarding the video that was fed to us... It is impossible to get such a cut in a helmet with 20-ounce gloves. That's why they started telling us that there was an elbow strike. But, excuse me, how could you get there, into that gap with your elbow? In my personal opinion, Fury, as always, was negligent in his sparring, boxed without a helmet, missed a left hook that tore his eyebrow.”

For anyone like me, who thought the fight wouldn't happen on that date, that makes sense. I think that was the plan all along for Fury, so he would peak for the rearranged date.big lennox wrote: ↑11 Feb 2024, 10:56 Alex Krassyuk's thoughts on Fury's cut:
