That was a small oversight on Buzz's part, i don't think that he read the commencement date in the topic title thread.
armageto wrote: 13 Feb 2024, 04:43I messaged him, but has anyone before now? He'll probably pick who I want within his two picks, but I rather than and spread out some of the upper top talent.
I have already PM'd him. In fairness, he could have sent me or Buzz a list of his selections in order and we could sanction it for him, but alas he didn't take up the opportunity.... You can bring a horse to water etc...
armageto wrote: 13 Feb 2024, 04:43I'll make my pick tomorrow in an attempt to give him as much time as possible.
That is a very noble gesture and most sporting of you. So we'll put the Draft on pause for 24 hours... After which we move on to Mr P4p1

Geto please send me a list of your top 3 picks in order... If NSR does take both his picks, you'll be sure to get your third...
Sounds like a plan, I'll send me my top 3 picks. I figure by tomorrow, say 10 PM your time, we should hopefully hear something back.

Incidentally, to his credit Mr P4p1 did send me a list of 7 fighters that he wanted, unfortunately they have all been recruited already...
I will send him a PM.

I’m gonna take a chance that his sterling record as a LHW holds up despite it not being his best weight and take Harry Greb over some other very promising options.

If his name showed up on the list Crease put out, that's a go. If you just pulled it from your heart, you will end up getting another shot but will lose your place until this is sorted. Like I say, If it's on the list...no worries!

Crease, maybe this was difficult to understand...however you and I were going to be able to choose our fighters at the mid point. However since that has now passed, I'll choose mine now....I suggest you do the same.

You and I may choose both our fighters now, I'll choose from those who are left, and will not usurp anyone's current second choice. You will need to do the same. My first choice is Maxie Rosenbloom. My second is Jimmy Bivins

wait, isn't there a bob fitszimmons rule? He may only be acquired by a worthy manager. Are you on the worthy manager list? I'll check with board of directors and get back to you. HOwever....if you do acquire Bob, we will be sensitive to his complaints should he file any grievances along the way. Your history of abuse and low pay goes before you, And Fitz should be well rewarded for his hard work and sterling reputation. Don't let him down!
