Tyson Fury at this stage of his career is done with serious training. What he is more focused on for this fight is to look in shape to try and intimidate Usyk with his belief this will scare Usyk into believing Tyson Fury is back to his best.
Good strategy if you believe Usyk ever thought that Tyson Fury was ever that good - or if Usyk was the type of person to ever get scared.
So what we get is a Tyson Fury who has dieted the weight off and done low intensity training to tone up. His vo2 and stamina will not be getting better, nor will his timing. Tyson Fury, if he turns up, will be the same old Tyson Fury who will in all probability get stopped by Usyk either from exhaustion or from that cut reopening.

Yes, damage limitation.

He's trying to preserve whatever little he has left, plus he knows he will need to be at his quickest.

Of course, when he loses, there will always be those who will say he got it wrong and should have gone in heavy.

265-272

That depends on his belly. Fury should be 250 lbs... if he is in shape. But I doubt we will see that,

Usyk will be at his fighting weight on 220-225. I doubt he will have excess fat on him and weigh in at 230 + lbs

At his age he'll put most of it on his shoulders and his arms.

Possible Usyk could weigh 230 or thereabouts.
How he makes it through nine ten rounds or 4-5 rounds full on, I'd like to see it :bag:
He's too small.

I'm thinking 225-228 Pounds.
He is near it. 227 max! He can come in heavier, but the cost will be speed and stamina. He should come in at 217 -220 pounds for Fury.

If Fury goes full on boxing or full on defence or a mixture of both and uses the physical advantages, it could be a one sided fight if he follows instructions.

Among the most important is the Usyk jab.
It pretty much holds everything together.

If fury boxes with Usyk, it will be like the Klitchsko fight, there will be more feinting than the front row at a televangelism event.

Tell your friend that there will almost certainly be a rematch clause.

It seems as if top modern day fighters cannot sign to fight each other without wanting a rematch clause.

As the days and weeks go by approaching the fight the weights are still on my mind.
Same time, Usyk's style argument starts to show signs of limitation.
I'm drawn to his jab and how important this punch is for him and what happens if it's taken away.

I think John Fury rattled himself, the self ordained “fighting man”.
What a myth.
He acted like a thug and dropped a Liverpool kiss only to open himself up.
What a dead set clown this bloke is.

Looks like Fury dropped a whole load of weight real quick.
He's alert I'll say that for him.
