It would have to be the cruiserweight version of Holyfield who would have been less experienced than Dempsey. Holyfield has the height and reach advantages. I think it would go the distance even at 15 rounds and a close decision, but I don't know who would win.

Height and reach don't mean much when you are talking about Dempsey. Holyfield was not good defensively and that would give Dempsey a very good chance. He definitely would get some shots in. Holyfield was such an accurate puncher he would be able to land a lot himself. Would lean towards Holyfield but Dempsey would have a serious chance. This would have been a very fun fight to watch.

If it's the 190 pound version of Holyfield. I favor Dempsey in a wild brawl. Both are tough as hell so they may both stay upright through the whole thing, but they'll be landing heavy blows on each other for sure. I would think one or both of them would go down at some point in the bout just for the sheer amount of shots that land. Tough as they both are, they ain't invincible, and they also both pack a pretty good wallop.

That being said both are gritty and determined enough that I can't see 'em staying down even if they go down so I'm expecting 15 rounds of all out war here, and I favor Dempsey.
