Clarke is clearly the side for me. I'd make him a narrow favourite. Adeleye is low level. Gorman is perennially obese and still schooled him early. Wardley has heart and will go down swinging but I think this is a good style for Frazer. Wardley is too hitable and loses the rag when hurt. Hes getting starched here for me.

If Wardley comes through this as a I suspect, he could go on to be a pretty big star IMO. He’s a fun KO fighter, nice guy who speaks well and he is relatively charming

wardley has improved consistently since beating gorman .
clarke has done zilch and ok maybe the bigger guy and have more weight behind his punching but he is pretty slow and once the pace increases will struggle .

interesting isn't it, Clarke has all that am experience but I don't think it will count for anything when Wardley pressures him.

The thing that nags at the back of my mind is what if Wardley doesn't take Clarke past 4-5 rounds at decent pace. I'll give it to Clarke he must carry a lot of power, Bracamonte is crap but recent form for him was taking Big Baby Miller and Demsey McKean the distance, Clarke straight lifted the guy off the floor.

But then that is why I love the fight. We're gonna have a lot of questions answered.

Big Fraze is a giant of a man but for me it feels like Wardley has more variety and seems quicker. I don't see Clarke falling for the things that Gorman fell for though. I think it'll be fun. If Frazier Clarke wins I think him and Joyce will fight

I just don't think you need much to beat Wardley. Adeleye was English level. Lost 5-1 to Soko but Soko got robbed. Gorman was landing well but the man is never getting out of obesity. Clarke is a solid guy if a bit basic but that should be enough. Wardley is a KO waiting to happen and I think losing the head and going after Clarke will get him KO'd.

When Clarke turned pro I was excited because it seemed that his style as an Am would translate well.
And while he has been doing what has been asked of him, I'm just not that impressed yet.
This will be a great test.

I see Wardley is a strong favourite.

Can get 2/1 on Clarke by any method with Paddy Power.

Clarke the better boxer, weight looks a little suspect to me. Wardley is more aggressive and has the edge on speed too. It's a good fight.

On paper I think Clarke has enough to beat Wardley, but as Sean pointed out: Wardley keeps on proving people wrong and he's also on a great run of fights so confidence must be sky high.

So far in his career I haven't seen much from Clarke to see him getting close to the top of the tree, but with his pedigree he should be dealing with Wardley.

TBH I have never seen anything from clarke that suggests he was ever any good yet wardley is getting better everytime out , and although he can look a bit ungainly he just brings it on strong and has that speed with powerful accurate shots .
I see clarke gassing if it goes beyond 7 and then wardley will force the stoppage .

Looking forward to this, if Clarke loses he is done and Wardley possibly gets a big fight in Saudi. Any outcome wouldn't surprise me in this and it's a nice treat on a Sunday after 2 decent football matches

Finally!
Great matchup, can't wait. :yay:
I'm team Fabio, even though I like Big Fraze, he hasn't carried over the momentum from his Am career into the Pro ranks.
Definitely not betting any money on either guy

I stopped following boxers outside of the ring a few years back. Some people shouldn't be given a platform and boxers best just box.
I like Fabio because of his courage, to come out swinging adter you've been hurt isn't always the best tactic, but it does get my respect :D
And limiting myself to a few words from the fighters ringside post fight goes a long way to ignoring the fact that most athletes are knobs.

Really? Seems like a nice fella to me , speaks really well and even when insults are being thrown at him ,he stays chilled and comes back with a well though out response .
Just seems like an intelligent and likeable bloke .

Is Marku a deserving favourite vs Kongo?

I’ve never really liked Marku and have always wanted to oppose him, but he’s kept winning. I feel as though Kongo is quite a big step up for him, though, and am tempted to back Chris at his current price of 6/5.
