giyasov reminds me of sandor martin, clearly a talented guy with his fast fluid hands and movement, but seems to lack a bit of strength up close, and overly tentative and uncomfortable with being heavily pressed at times. if he were european he'd be a good euro champ but not a world level force

cruz fight starting .......... his first pro bout he was good but a bit slappy for me. 2nd fight, he looked already settling into a diff pro style and looked the force id hoped. hopefully more of that here

opponent tonight not with notable wins, but had a draw with the decent angel fierro 2 fights ago

cruz looks very well built/muscular for the weight....opponent looks a division smaller but is trying and has winged in some okay shots despite being overmatched

my impression is that cruz isnt a particularly hard puncher, but i dont think he's sunny edwards either. all his fight so far, barely been hit despite being the one pressing. it's a good thing for front foot fighters to take notes on

ya , doesnt seem quite as quick or flashy, but he's also hulking in size and looks like he could be a handful to try to overpower too
