Bloushi landed really good punches, Garcia walking through them well though, tough as teak.

Amusingly it sounded like the announced Belmehdi as 'the Morrocan bummer' instead of bomber due to the accent. I saw someone laugh in thee crowd. I also laughed.

this has gone mental, Belmehdi thought there was a low blow, so stopped and appealed to the ref, so Lamptey lamped him (sorry), then at the end of the round Belmehdi squared up to him and tried to headbutt Lamptey.

No point deducted for putting the nut on!

Belmehdi very nearly stopped Lamptey then and ended the round by throwing Lamptey across the ring when Lamptey tried to hold. This is WWE

Throwing til the end, Belmehdi was excellent, should be a points win for him, went for the finish at the end.

98-92 Belmehdi, card looks harsh on Lamptey,he certainly played his part, teak tough, strong as a bull, really put everything into every shot, even his jab he leapt from the ground, he had a decent jab when he used it tbf, some chin as well, even though he was stunned a few times he stood up to some serious artillery, he was nearly always second best though imo, never hit Belmehdi with the quality of shots Belmehdi hit him with, the counter left hook worked well as did the right cross, he went out to outfight Lamptey , both guys traded and it was always Belmehdi who was better, ref never had to really get involved, a few naughties went on but overall it was a fight and a great one at that, can't see how a judge thought Lamptey won, that's poor

Agree, no way he won, he was close to getting stopped at one point due to unanswered punches. There was proper needle there.

Definitely, I can see it closer than my 8-2 card for sure but no doubt Belmehdi was a clear winner, I thought he'd be better coasting but just as well he didn't , super fight nonetheless
