You not got The cobra on there either from your Hennessy days when you called Joe C. Calslappy.

I got Lloyd Honeyghan in there. Benn is not top 10.

oooh loving this question/topic, nice one Spud. My top 10 is based on my stupid biased and ill informed stance on boxing (always get the caveats in first!) and as follows:

- Joe Calzaghe (not a contentious choice)
- Lennox Lewis (again will likely be in many people's top 10s)
- Naseem Hamed - grew up watching him
- Carl Froch - apparently once fought in front of 80,000 at Wembley but has never mentioned it
- Johnny Nelson - 7 year reign as WBO champ
- Chris Eubank - grew up watching him, so ignoring all those dodgy wins he got
- Nigel Benn - as above and did win a WBC title instead of the WBOs ones UK boxers seemed to hog in 90s
- Dennis Andries - seemed to win the WBC title 450 times
- Ricky Hatton - apparently there's only one Ricky Hatton.
- Tyson Fury - despite all the nonsense, 2 time HW champ who has held all the belts

I have changed my mind already and its going tobe controversial… i originally chose Lewis but his record when put under review doesn’t warrant him being no 1

Plus I too canot believe Carl Froch is not in there he is now. He takes chris eubanks place

I am also swapping Joe Calzaghe and Lennox Lewis

But gents how does Honeyghan get in ?

I have also changed my mind Spud, your initial list was better than mine don't worry.

Regarding Honeyghan, I think the manner of his unexpected victory lives long in the memory. I also like him vacating a belt based on the sanctioning body's stance on apartheid. That shows guts to me. He was also one of the first British fighters to regain a world title. He also wore really cool hats.

Did you ever meet Joe C when you were in boxing? He's one of my heroes hence me being nosey.

I never include fighters this long ago just because I know so little about them. Which is probably wrong and lazy. His resume is amazing. Good shout Devious.

excellent inclusion, love that he retired on a healthy winning streak. He looks so healthy these days and has even slimmed down from his fighting weight. He didn't make mega money but looks in such a good place. And what a fighter! True legend.

Not much footage on Fitzsimmons. Very difficult to rate him and the opposition he faced.

Wasn't he a kiwi anyway?
