Best boxing show i've seen for yers was actually an ameteur show not to long ago , around 22-23 fights , every single one of them a well evenly matched fight , and no young girls or fat middle aged lesbians to spoil it

I had a good seat at the Hatton-Tszyu fight. The atmosphere was nothing short of incredible. The undercard wasn't much, but the main event made up for it.

Yes, I was at that one, Sheffield Leisure centre I believe.

I remember seeing Carl Thompson batter Haye, that was a cracker, Thomson v Rothmann was one of the most dramatic fights I've ever seen.

Froch v Kessler 2 was a good one.

I am of course missing the obvious one, I watched Pacquaio's first fight with Marquez, which also had Miguel Cotto on the undercard. That was some event to be at, made it even better as I was there in the press section so was really close to the action.

Seeing Hatton at the MEN though, I have never seen an atmosphere at a boxing match like it, before or since.

Best fight I've seen live deffo Eubank v Wharton, purely for atmosphere.

Undercard, Tommy Hearns v Orlin Norris., purely because it was Tommy Hearns.

Pretty much everyone I spoke to at the fight thought he would likely lose. It was the impossible dream and it came true.
For me, born in Manchester to a family of boxing fans who all support City, it was a really big deal.

Worst night was when I went to see my boy Salita beat Amir Khan in Geordieland.

that was a great card, my mate knew Carl Baker so was cheering him on too. Femi Fehintola on that card too, loved watching him. He's been through lots out the ring so it's good to see him well again.

Was rotherham, that was the one i got a lift to leeds to visit a friend (who is now my Mrs) and on tje way the windscreen inexplicably imploded on the motorway. Mad night that.

I got to know Femi very well. Dennis tried his best. To keep Femi too boxing so much so paid for him to have a permanent room at the Hilton Sheffield when he was in training.

Clinton Wood was good friend with Fem.

Alas, I feel his personal life put paid to him realising his true potential.

The team at. Fight Academy were quite close and Femi’s devastating loss against Ryan Barrett gutted us all because all of us were. Desperate for Femi to succeed but it wasn’t to be . The last time I heard from him was a few months ago.

As far as Carl Baker is concerned he posts on here, I won’t divulge his username.

Carl has always tried to support me on here when I go off the rails. A thoroughly decent. Bloke.

I was at Juan Manuel Marquez v Juan Diaz I in Houston Texas. It was amazing and got the Ring Magazine fight of the year.

Chris John v Rocky Juarez was the undercard fight.

I didn’t realise how much Mexicans and Mexican Americans dislike each other until that night.
