Manny Pacquiao vs Terence Crawford

The 2008-2010 version of Pacquiao (that we all wanted to see against Mayweather) versus Crawford of today (Spence fight).

How do you think it goes?

Crawford knocks out Pacquiao in a good, competitive fight.

Pac was always troubled with aggressive counter punchers (Juan Manuel Marquez), and I believe Crawford is even better at that than Marquez was. Plus being the naturally bigger man. It's a knockout loss for the Pac Man.

There may have been the reason why Freddie Roach wasn't keen on Pac fighting Crawford, openly saying that "Crawford represents a horrible style for Pac". Not a direct quote, but you may google it.

That said, Freddie stated it back in 2015-2017. That's when Arum wanted to stage Pac-Crawford fight. Pac, of course, was already losing a step or two at the time.

The Pac from 2009 was surely more explosive. And his footwork and everything that comes with it (in-and-out game, angles that he created) was still top-notch. I think, Crawford would've been in for a very difficult fight.

But like you, guys, I believe Terence Crawford could've been good enough to beat even that Pac.

Crawford really was one of the worst possible matchups for Pac. Even at his best he'd have lost to Crawford, if they'd have fought in say 2017 or something, it would've been ugly.
