Glad we managed to see that Ukrainian heavyweight prospects fight. Thought he looked ok to be fair.

An obscure one but reminds me of Taras Bidenko.

He got the stars around Huni's head, shame he was too tired to "Finish HIm.."
Maybe he wasn't supposed to?
He seemed to 'wake up' a couple of times during the fight, then backed off.
nah, he said "I@m really tired" between rounds 9-10.
He wanted to get the KO and tried to, just too knackered, and Huni held and recovered well.

Hope i'm wrong
chisora may be too shopworn these days, but ya overall i agree. he's either gonna have to become much more of a physical presence, and im not sure how much power he can really add tbh, or significantly improve his defense and adapt a more cautious approach

his current style is the one of a bigger, harder hitting guy who can take them back okay. he does show flashes of being able to box and move well, but never sticks to that for long
Agreed ,

Might not even have his man strength yet.
I'll check in with John Fury, see if we can get a time frame :maybe:

24? younger than i had thought tbh, was probably mixing him up with jai. it makes me a bit more optimistic given the usual hw peak age is later than most divisions, but a lotta work to do regardless

I met Merv Hughes and his "rustbucket rally" crew in an outback pub in 1996.
I was the barman and got to join in with an epic pissup. Got his autograph, a photo and a good 1/2 chat about cricket.
He hated Graeme Hick and thought he was the world's most overrated batsmen..

Saw Merv this week!
He was leading a tour group through the second test between NZ and Oz.
And the Merv Mo was in fine fettle
