This is easily explained...
It's a wee bit like the NHL - all show and fisticuffs - but do you actually see people KO'd flat out on the ice? No sir...

As is very much the case with JHL - all tippy tappy punches, not hurtful, not harmful, it's all a good show for the kiddies... And didn't you know that he is a Gentleman?

You may have missed the memo......after this week performance points will be posted. And then the title fights may begin. Performance points will be posted after week 7. Ratings can begin being posted for the three main bodies for weeks 8 and 9 and on week 10 the first of title fights may begin.

....... Well except for IBO and WBO....they are on their own. However they will not have performance points to work with until after this event.

Updated performance points will be posted each week. And Sanctioning bodies may use them to figure out their standings. There will not be unanimity among the organizations...or if there is, it will be rather happenstance. As they each have different ways of sorting, and can be at odds with one another for reasons beyond the ability for mankind to discern.

If for some reason we feel we must move faster, the first title fights should wait at least until next week when we have our first performance points.

Bivens will face Battling Levinsky.

Rosenbloom calls out Michael Moorer
....but Michael will likely run like the dickens. So...we may have to face a more courageous opponent.

So am I to understand we still do not have rankings and therefore don't know who the Top 8 is?

I think it goes without saying Ezzard Charles is the #1 guy right now. So we'll accept your apology, and you can just hand us the title.

Boxbuzz's Week 8 ruling has created an opportunity here. We call upon Gilgamesh The Fowl to step up to the challenge (if you can, i'm sure they're tired with all that running away) and Stable War with my fighters:

Billy Conn vs Ezzard
Gentleman John Henry vs Bob Fitz

Dr Duke may be entering the game. He will let me know soon. I have a way of entering his fighters so that it will be fair to him and those of us who already have skin in the game. His fighters will need to have the same amount of experience as the rest of us....however there are plenty of highly rated opponents to give who ever he picks a fair history. Lady Luck may be kind or cruel to new comers. But we can bring newcomers.....or even illegal aliens into the safe harbor of our pugilistic paradise.

If he chooses to enter, his fighters fight experiences will be made fully public.....so both he and we know what we up against.

I'm willing to do this for anyone up to event #10. After that the amount of work it would take to get this done would be a bit prohibitive.

Given the depth in this division and the multitude of dangerous CPU opponents and the fact Betty Boo Promotions do not take the easy option:

Gene Tunney will take on the destructive Iran 'The Blade' Barkley.

Harold Johnson will go toe to toe with the formidable, former Heavyweight Champion Tommy Burns.

Fights that are on the schedule have been run.

Langford and Greb are in need of fights.

Meanwhile I will create and post historys for Dr Duke's fighters and he can join the event#8 festivities. These fighters have a few fights already logged in. I will post their entire history in the Dr Duke Thread.

I see that Dr Duke has accepted some fights with P4P1.....if they both agree, I can run them. But I don't see P4P1's authorization?
