still a slower paced fight, but madi putting together better shots. started to wing in some power in the 2nd.

Madrimov much the busier thus far, dipping in and out of range and outworking Kurbanov at the moment.

ya 3-0 mad here too. kurb not landing the type of quality shots that he needs fighting at such a low pace.

madrimov looks like a puncher, fights like a puncher, his name sounds like he is a puncher, but i do not think he is a big puncher....
madrimov is looking classy in there though. love watching fights at "normal person size" weights...

i think he can punch but a lot of fights he spends too much looking for one big shot, and also telegraphs. in most his decisions he's scored knockdowns but then didnt finish. he is boxing more here and looking goodgregregegg wrote: ↑08 Mar 2024, 17:05 madrimov looks like a puncher, fights like a puncher, his name sounds like he is a puncher, but i do not think he is a big puncher....

Early stoppage aside Madrimov looks classy as hell I'll tune in to watch him regards of where he's boxing (I'd imagine an Uzbek will be difficult to promote in the UK or US.)
For the rest of the division I'd imagine they will swerve the WBA title holder.

It seemed early - but he isn’t complaining. Think he didn’t like that power

Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou | PPV - 8 March 2024
Was that early? it depends how you look at it... The fight needed to be stopped/paused, he was on the ropes getting peppered...
I think ref should of called a knockdown, ropes holding him up, but they rarely call that for acumulated shots leaning on ropes... they normaly only use it for stumbling and crashing into the ropes (pov vs price)...
If you dont wanna call a knockdown there then stopping it is a good call. few big big shots, leaned on the ropes copping more.
