The difference is timing.
I think a lot of people still underestimate the concussive power of boxing gloves, with their custard-like property of being soft at rest but diffusely hard at speed.

The difference is the shot, how it landed and the fact that there were 3 of them… Ngannou showed a great chin getting up from 2, it’s just no one is taking 3 of those..

He got hit with one of the most technicaly sound strait rights down the pipe by one of the hardest punchers in the world as clean as a punch can land…. 2 mins later he got hit by another absolutely perfect shot… 20 seconds later got hit with a 3rd absolutely perfect shot.

I actually don’t believe there’s a chin in the world that can take those 3 shots like that.

The first shot on its own realistically would litraly kill 75% of the population. It would clean ko another 24.99 %…… 0.01% might get up, but then there are still 2 more to come.

Holy heck AJ is delivering highlight reel knockouts in this game. Give the man the respect he deserves.

He cleaned up Fury opponents in devastating fashion nuff said. This is how you do it.

Redemption for boxing, great to watch!

Props to Joshua but much bigger props to Ngannou, he believed, looked good until the first knock down, and showed true bravery to get back up from two heavy shots like that, he can hold his head high.

If Fury beats Usyk then ducks Joshua, he can eff off into retirement, i dont ever want to see or hear from him again. In my book he will never be forgiven for it.

That's how it's done. A well schooled heavy that hits hard. A lot predicted it.

Tyson Fury made Ngannou look better than he is. AJ did what he had to do and show there is no room for novice pro boxers in a ring who have no wins on their record with elite world fighters.

I sat on the fence for this fight as I judged Ngannou on his performance against Fury but it shows that putting 1 fight novice boxers in the ring with the elite of boxers what can happen. It's a dangerous sport and there has to be measures that these fights don't happen again.

Good for Joshua to get himself back in the mix.

I suppose this puts an end to Ngannou's boxing career, or at the very least it puts an end to him being credible to box against any top level guys.

Joshua vs Fury should happen at some point this year regardless of what happens with Usyk vs Fury.

I feel like it'd be a shame if 2 of the most accomplished British Heavies of all time never fought in Wembley.

He probably has never been hit hard that cleanly.

Kicks will usually have more power though. Vlad never got KO in boxing on the other hand, but was KO'd in Kickboxing.

Then again, MMA is a mishmash of combat abilities and usually doesn't have the elite kickers or punchers.

Fury definitely made Ngannou appear better than he was. I’m still not sure Fury could do what AJ done as he isn’t a big one punch hitter so would still likely need to outbox Ngannou.

Enjoyed the fights(too long though) & the only thing that spoilt it for me was the egg eating weasel being there then I cheered up imagining that Joshua punch hitting Benn & making him fly past the space x rocket & hitting the moon with enormous impact.

I didn't get to watch it until this morning. That was a hell of a performance by Josh. Up until they both fought Ngannou, I've always been convinced that Fury would mop the floor with AJ, but not anymore. Joshua is going to knock the Luke the drug cheat out, it's just a shame Usyk will get to do it first.

Thank goodness for this result.
Give FN his due. He’s made some good coin.

Mind you. WBC will probably raise him to #5 in the rankings so he get his rematch v The “Lineal” Champ.

I foresee a trilogy there
