Assuming Joshua fights up to potential - doesn't have one of his bad nights - he'll win big and easy, by UD or stoppage.

AJ take either by decision or stopping Rahman late after outboxing and outpunching him on the outside.

rahman was pretty basic but wasnt bad. heavy jab with unusually long reach for his height, big right hand. the 2 times he got handled in his prime, one was by an atg he'd already beat, the other he had a good lead vs solid contender in maskaev.

aj beats him and possibly ends up getting a ko with the right hand, but not a total wipeout. he's enough of an offensive threat to keep aj off for a while

That's about how I see it, too. Especially, if we speak about Rahman of 1999-2001. Particularly, about the one who upset Lewis. Even if Lennox wasn't at his best that night - Rahman looked sharp in that fight, nevertheless. And was well-prepared.

If you're interested, I also dropped a topic on Vitali-AJ below.

Rock couldnt counter. Joshua struggles with quick fisted counterpunchers

He doesnt do anything better than joshua and joshua would land a right hand at will on rock

Its a nightmare fight for rahman

I agree, for the most part. That said, Rahman countered well several times in that Lewis fight. In particular, early in the 4th - when Lewis put him on the ropes and unleashed a combo. In that particular sequence, Rock fought off the ropes well. That's if my memory serves me well.

Otherwise, I agree with you. Normally, Rahman would just cover himself up and would wait till the end of opponent's rally.
