The top 10 won't necessarily work this season. Since we don't have the belt org rankings, where other champs are excluded, there aren't going to be enough options weekly, aside the same guys recycling for title shots. I already have to offer a guy coming off a loss, in a title fight, just for lack of options in the top 10.

As for the IBO, Steve ShuffleShits has said Archie Moore can fight anybody in the top 12 of the soon to be released updated IBO Rankings.

As for IBF champion Tommy Loughran, he offers a title shot to any of the following guys:

BoxBuzz - Maxie Rosenbloom (IF he fights weekly as a champion, should he win)
DrDuke - Eddie Mustafa Muhammad
NazNaci1 - Gene Tunney
Techno89 -Michael Moorer

Foster would like to rematch Julio Gonzalez. Not sure if Gonzalez is set to rematch for the linear belt? If so, he will then take on Otis Griffin.

IBO rankings have been updated, which will always be an update to the first post on the IBO page.

IBO fight option for the champ has been updated, which will always be an update to the second second post on the IBO page.

Figuring once the belts are sorted out, plus the IBO champ might not want to give up his IBO belt in case he did win a major title, it pretty much takes 5 fighters off the board, most of which will probably be in the top 10. Since we don't have individual org rankings and only a generalized top rankings for the season, it seems we should have available title shots be for the top 15 fighters? Everybody should find a suitable opponent that way and we aren't recycling the same guys weekly.

Maxie would love this shot.....however we have stipulated to stand down this week for taking two slices of the pie last week. But such opportunities are rare......so if we did and we happened to win, we would have to stand down for the following week. At some point we need to abstain for a week. So we do agree....and his management team would allow it, and apparently the IBF champion is willing to take such a risk......so Crease will need to rule on this. If Maxie wins, he must stand down for week 10......champ or no champ.

they are in order of performance points. It just takes too long to manuallly insert them....as the cut and paste features are limited due to software limitations. And yes, the champ fight options should include anyone in the top 20 maybe even 25. Commissioners would only insert themselves into proposed matches or challenges if they somehow fail the smell test for some reason. Except for mandatory weeks.

We rescind the offer to Maxie. The belts should be defended every week. Slap elsewhere... :bag:

So what are the eligible options for title shots?

Top 10? 15? or 20?

We'll open it up to the top 20... But NOT if you're coming off a loss for the WBC, WBA & IBF.

Armageto was quite right, this is why he is such a valued member of our Sim. The WBO & IBO can do whatever they so wish.

Top 20 it is, I will adjust my call outs to fight in some more options. Not coming off a loss makes sense, as we had that rule implemented at some point previously.

As far as Knight, can champs challenge him? Is he fighting Gonzalez two weeks in a row?

Hopeful revenge for Foster... :bag:

If not, this might be the unemployment line.

Can champions challenge Knight, or is it just a computer thing for this season?

We will get there.....I'd like some time to consider how we introduce it. Probably a lottery of some sort in week 13. where the winner of the lottery between champs gets to face the Lineal Fella. How does that sound?

Appreciate the offer, Geto. Want to test Tunney a little more yet, start to turn up the heat, so to speak after a couple of pretty straightforward wins.......

Gene Tunney will take on the stocky, sturdy ex- Champ, Gus Lesnevich.

'His Badness Himself' Harold Johnson offers a shot at the WBA Title to the only man to defeat him, in a fight he was winning, 'Ruby' Rob Fitzsimmons.

If this offer is declined then the offer and shot goes to John Henry Lewis.

Rosenbloom will face the Music....or the Wayward Wind this week. Since he is not allowed into a squared circle

Bivens...Will take on Carpentier......Unless of course a manager has the Cajones to allow one of their fighters to face him.. And even then he may take on Carpentier. It depends on who steps up. If it's a slacker, we may not be interested.

No problem man, wanted to make sure you get the rematch. We'll definitely get it done before it's over.

As for Fitz, he's coming off a loss, so can't fight for a title, unless basically no other options. So Lewis might be a better bet.

Yes, missed that.....If JHL wants it, he got it.

Otherwise, another big puncher, Michael Moorer can have it.

On a side note, what ruling do we have on champion unification fights this year? Might have to have a different approach without having all the org rankings. Once a belt gets unified, it would probably remain with one fighter. We'd want unification at some point, but not 3 of 4 belts, or all, remaining with one various boxer.
