Ali was pretty listless last time out in defeat, it feels like if he had a bit more dedication and belief he'd be at that English/Commonwealth/fringe British title level, but he never seems to have had that, for whatever reason.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑12 Mar 2024, 16:07would be a massive shock. Esp with Kash having a loss last time round. I don't think Kash has ever been a full time boxer, people speak of him being a good boxer and has been a sparring partner lots. I remember he missed the press conference as he was working. Was with Ingles for a bit, Ty Booth talks about him Wood and Ali being taken to Nottingham City Centre to spar in the street to get their names out there / build up confidence.
What do others make of Ali on here?
With the Joyce fight, it's all about his mindset, I don't think he's someone you could believe in to put in the best performance of his life against likely the best opponent he's been in with. My guess is that we see a quit at some point, either in the corner, or taking a 10 count and getting up at 11. When that comes depends on how hard Joyce wants to go from the first bell.
