James is losing and getting battered but he has a hell of a chin on him.

Admirable from Ethan James facing down absolute disaster there.

I don’t know how long he can last though, with that chin up in the air

he’s got a tough career ahead of him.

You can blame Ted Kid Lewis for that. :TU: Bloody Jews!

Seriously though. Wouldn't it be better for the ref have a spare mouthpiece for each boxer in his pocket?

The lack of defence from James is absolutely killing him, chin so high and getting pummelled with hooks here.

first round James has not looked like he's on the brink. Imagine if he comes back from this.

The problem for James apart from the obvious lack of power is the lack of strength, not all non punchers are weak, Warrington for instance, only has a handful or so KOs to his name but is as strong as an ox, James has zero purchase in his punches, chin agape ain't clever either

Mad that a FW card hasn't started out with spirit crushing 60-54s. It'll never catch on, of course

Incredible grit from Ethan James, but his head is alarmingly flopping around like a ragdoll

James is a tough sod. Tough career ahead with that upright stance. Wide open for a hook.

Solid chin on him though, but feather duster power

Yeah such a brave kid, I know his dad is a fighter, but I would be really worried my son in a boxing ring taking punishment like that

Good call from the coach

corner pull out from coach. right decision. Cooper was well ahead on all cards. James has a kind corner.
