Well Ali did the getting up late at the count thingThe_Don1 wrote: ↑14 Mar 2024, 07:31Ali was pretty listless last time out in defeat, it feels like if he had a bit more dedication and belief he'd be at that English/Commonwealth/fringe British title level, but he never seems to have had that, for whatever reason.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑12 Mar 2024, 16:07would be a massive shock. Esp with Kash having a loss last time round. I don't think Kash has ever been a full time boxer, people speak of him being a good boxer and has been a sparring partner lots. I remember he missed the press conference as he was working. Was with Ingles for a bit, Ty Booth talks about him Wood and Ali being taken to Nottingham City Centre to spar in the street to get their names out there / build up confidence.
What do others make of Ali on here?
With the Joyce fight, it's all about his mindset, I don't think he's someone you could believe in to put in the best performance of his life against likely the best opponent he's been in with. My guess is that we see a quit at some point, either in the corner, or taking a 10 count and getting up at 11. When that comes depends on how hard Joyce wants to go from the first bell.

That was a fast count, redid it myself got to 7

Shame the division moves so slow, Joe two years ago would have probably beaten AJ or at least battered him about like a proper challenger.

Good night for me so far....jameswilson wrote: ↑16 Mar 2024, 18:58 Joyce points was 14/1 pre fight.
I was really close to doing it.
I did £125 at 2.5 in play on a stoppage after a tired round by Ali and a round later thought I'd fuc ked it.
Thank god for Ali misreading the count.
Ezra Taylor outright
Owen Cooper KO
Dennis McCann points
Zack Park points bet just after the knockdown @ 4/1
Joyce-Ali over 1.5 rounds
How do you see Liam Davies fight going?

A lot of people had Joyce beating Aj 18 months ago. He's done at top level
Towers in the corner was a bit much. "I COULD BEAT HIM" No mate, you couldnt, you lost to Lucas Browne in a stinker

Davies take a bow son, clinical as you like, ref shouldn't be letting Robles continue after that first KD though

Super Bantam has been a really good division for us down the years hasn't it.
Hell of a lot of European champions at the weight and a smattering of World champs too.

Exciting fighter, Liam Davis, that’s for sure
Very poor from the ref there, the guy could barely stand

The reason Fwank's got him the IBO is so he can talk about fighting Inoue, but not have to actually fight him.
