Anyone know what Haye's plans are? Another defence of the euro title, or are they busy gunning for that WBC fight?

Surely, a rematch with his previous opponent is what the public demand next ?!

When the plonker said he was limiting himself to three right hands a round, that ruled me out of ever buying a ticket to a David Haye fight. Granted, his fights are usually very exciting but that comment was ridiculous.

Sometimes we pay good money and get to see bad fights, thats just the way the cookie crumbles as not every bout can be a thriller, but when a guy limits himself to three right hands a round, I'll take my business elsewhere, thank you very much

He was due to fight Cantatore, but the Italian pulled out of the purse bids just before they were due last week.

The WBC purse bid has been delayed so he'll make a Euro voluntary in November.

Who couldn't Sellers wobble & hurt? He's got a much better KO % than Macarrinelli.

Aye, Ezra Sellers was a huge puncher.

Haye just needs to fight the winner of Bell-Mormeck and then move up to heavyweight. There is nothing for him at cruiser.

a lot of it was down to Sellers being a southpaw with a heavyweigh punch (see his awesome fight with Alex Stewart, if you can get it!). Johnny really had problems with the southpaw but adjusted by using his own right hand and stopping Ezra with a shot in the eye.

I agree, his speed could really help him at Heavyweight with the current crop being slow

I think Nelson is going to stop Enzo.
Nelson has stopped better boxers than Enzo,and he has a questionable chin.
Johnny has also been in with far bigger(and quicker)punchers than Enzo(Sanders for one)

Of course,at Nelsons age,you never know when its one fight too far,but with all his experience and ring know how,plus his superior boxing skills,I just can't see an average boxer(altho big puncher)like Macca can beat him.

Going to be a very interesting fight though.Looking forward to it.

Certainly a mile better than that excuse for a main event on the same bill

meh, depends how much nelson has left.

If he's retained his skills and toughness I see him stopping enzo.

However that monstrous layoff should be disastrous for him at his age.

I've been watching some of Bika's fights from Australia. As a lean middleweight when he was about 21. No wonder he's grown into super middle.

Real beast of a fighter, great specimen, ferocious and quite sneaky. I noticed that there was a great deal of natural ability that needed refining. Looking at the Beyer fight, which happened years later (recently), I can see that sakio's skills are there now.

So what, nobody's heard of him. But I think ppl should take the Beyer fight as a bit of a warning not to underestimate this guy.

But the real main event is Nelson-Enzo. Has the potential to be a classic. Given that we're told Calzaghe-Woods WON'T happen (Hobson wanting to do it Sky PPV I think), we need to domestic scraps... HBO are prepared to shell out lots of $ if Calzaghe faces a big name in Feb. Calzaghe vs the WBA-WBC champion anyone?

No i was stating that if Ezra could hurt Nelson and frighten him into fighting on the backfoot..then Enzo can....and for the record....i think Nelson got a little lucky with the thumb to the eye of sellers.

No way is Haye ready for those two. There is plenty for him at Cruiser. Cunningham, Enzo Mac, that Polish guy whose name I'm not even going to attempt. And as for Heavyweight, with Haye's chin I think thats a bad move.

I was watching a Eurosport compilation programme a few months ago with the theme of something like 'fantastic cruiserweight matches'. They followed Mormeck beating Dale Brown with Sellers - Nelson. Now I'm a Nelson fan but I'd sooner stick forks in my eyes than watch that turgid piece of crap ever again.
