Danny the whale Williams, Kirk mantits Johnson, and a totally unprepared Corrie Sanders.

A terrible title reign.

People are criticising Valuev's reign but was Vitali's really any better?

BrocktonBallBuster49,

You crawled out of your hole over in the "Boxers of the Past" forum just to come over here and act like a troll? There is a search button at the top of the screen. Try it. I'm sure you've started some identical Vitali Kklitschko threads before.

Think he came over here due to Vitali's name being brought up in a Jersey Joe Walcott thread over in BotP Forum..... Maybe thats not the reason, but I just finished reading that thread.

wow we are in total agreement :TU:

Vitali never won any big fights and byrd made him quit just prove he wasn't a great champion. He lost to byrd, and lost to an old out of shape Lewis who made him look like The Great Canyon. Nothing especial about Vitali. :TU:

Well, Vitali had to quit because he was injured -- as long as the fight went, he owned Byrd. Even with one arm only.

True! Look at the scrubs Briggs has been fighting. Edeescam how can you criticise the comp level of the Klits when Briggs has been fighting in the club circuit?

I can't blame Vitali cause his opponents came into fights out of shape. It was Johnson and Williams faults fo not training hard.

Sorry its not an NFL thing. Its too hard to support the Colts when they didn't have enough sense to resign James.

Pssst ... BTW, Vitali's last fight was back in 2004. We're closing in on the Fall of 2006. You're still obsessing on Vitali. Geez Man, can't you at least move on to attacking Vlad's chin? At least the topic would then be current.

Williams had no business being there in the first place. He is a British title level heavyweight who has failed to win a European title and was in the right place at the right time when Tyson was on his downward spiral AND injured his leg. Klitschko's reign was terrible that cannot be disputed. Johnson was nothing special at the time the guy got himself DQ'd against Ruiz! And basically had eaten himself out of contention. The sad thing is Klitschko could have beaten any heavyweight out there once Lewis retired, yet he chose chump fodder then retired.

why would i critisize wlad?? is wlad vitali??? no. wlad has top notch power and top notch skills that vitali lacks. wlad is the far better tooled and far more potential of the two. wlad also beat in shape top contenders unlike vitali.

Larry Donald, was in the best shape he had been in since the loss to Riddick Bowe...

Vitali smacked the shit out of him... I find the manner of his defeat quite impressive... As no one has had Larry in trouble... Before or since. Not even when Larry was 15-25lbs overweight.

I'd pick the motivated, in shape Larry Donald who came to the Vitali fight over Chris Byrd.

Umm, Larry Donald and Hasim Rahman have nothing in common?

They fight completely different styles, and have completely different attributes.

Not sure where you got that one from.

Yes, but Donald never tried emulating Rahman.

Besides being completely sackless, Donald was head and shoulders above Rahman in every area except power.
