Few notes this week.

1. Mauro Mina challenges for the Lineal title this week, some say it has been long overdue...

2. Julio Gonzalez, who has become very much "the new kid on the block" will fight a very old hand - the legend that is Sugar Ray Leonard.

3. PRIZEFIGHTER this week (that crept up on you didn't it?) on this iteration we shall be catering for the poor huddled masses of the unmanaged, particularly those that haven't really fought yet - so probably 8 new guys in there. More meat for the grinder lads, eh?

Gentleman John (20th) would like to face Tommy Gibbons (17th) this week.

Billy Conn (15th) offers a fight to Eddie Mustafa Muhammad (13th).

All four are coming off losses, so why not?

Gene Tunney would like test himself against Jurgen Braehmer, after his fine win over B-Hop as his 1st option.

However, we will leave the door open for B-Hop, should they want to 'right this wrong' in a rematch.

In that event, and in keeping with Gene's moving up in quality, Gene will take on that great fighter from the 'Emerald Isle' Mike McTigue, in what could be a tricky, risky match up.

WBA Champion, Mr Harold Johnson will offer a shot (as promised) to the only man to defeat him, Bob Fitzsimmons.

If this offer is declined (which I doubt) the shot can go to Dwight Qawi who would also be a worthy challenger.

Appreciate this Naz, Hopkins is keen to take on Braehmer again, and would like to initiate a rematch. :TU:

Maxie wants YOU!! If YOU have what it takes to be slapped silly and somehow simply survive and stay standing, then step up!!

First come first serve. Champion or no Champion. Maxie will power slap any man in the house into Bolivian!!!!

Are you ready to be Maxi Slapped? If so....Step up and prove it.

Bivens wants the last Battling fighter that our promotional conglomerate has not faced. Battling Siki! And we have negotiated with Battling Inc. and will be taking the "Battling" namesake for one of our own if we are able to achieve a clean sweep of all the authentic Battling Boxers.

The WBO mandatory was originally scheduled for week 10, but due to the rematch taking place for the WBO title in week 9 the mandatory will be pushed back to week 11. Spinks is free to fight whomever he chooses within the top 15 of the WBO rankings.

Apparently you and your motley crew of Langford and Greb have made a choice to duck The Max. We don't blame you. ......you have hereby failed the eligibility criteria......Next

On the contrary Mr Buzz. We were reading a statement for Mr Greb to take on the one who slaps. With the Vacant WBO international championship on the line of course. Because as you at GoldenBuzz know, belts sell fights and make great pictures for afterwards.

Very clever......you passed, we have moved on. If it was an honest error, we regret the lost opportunity. But we suspect you recognized the opportunity to APPEAR to be ready to engage, whilst taking the easy way out. Rules is rules, order is essential and polices and procedures must be honored.

You can fool some of us, but you can't fool Max.

World Champion Michael ‘Only Built for Cuban’ Spinks will defend his title against WBO no#7, and massive gobshite, Anthony Mundine.

Bob Foster will fight Danny Green. If he loses this one, he's done!

Tommy Loughran offers an IBF title shot to some of these guys who don't have anything set up at the moment:

Hopkins and Braehmer II is on the cards, so Tunney will fight the skilled and dangerous, Mike McTigue.
