Re: Chris Bourke vs. Ashley Lane | TNT Sports - 22 March 2024
Pretty pointless, really.
No competition at all. Did Garber actually throw anything?

There's been some good kids on this card, but seriously, how about a proper fight?

I like him, he writes very well, boxed himself, and has written about the sport for 3 decades. I know he can be a caricature but his knowledge is near-unrivalled.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑22 Mar 2024, 17:22 What it boils down to is, when Bunce talks, all he’s doing is promoting brand Bunce: the reality is, he’s not talking about anything else really

he's a dickhead, people lobbied to get him back a job he lost, then he went after the people who were supporting him. his attack on that writer over the lebedev-jones rematch is one of the oddest things ive seen too. annoying as hell as a pundit for me, keep him on paperSeanBrennan wrote: ↑22 Mar 2024, 17:33I like him, he writes very well, boxed himself, and has written about the sport for 3 decades. 6ft 6. He's 19. 17 stone currently. He'll top out at 18 stone. He's big enough.
19 years old, he's doing well.

'Best Heavyweight ever?'....hype train in overdrive.
A very good prospect but needs to go up a few levels now. Break Tyson's record, really?

we can agree to disagree. His BN articles I always enjoy, and his book was fantastic. I don't know him but I thoroughly enjoy his writings and commentary. I'm not aware the job thing you mention, not being dismissive just not aware.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑22 Mar 2024, 17:34he's a dickhead, people lobbied to get him back a job he lost, then he went after the people who were supporting him. his attack on that writer over the lebedev-jones rematch is one of the oddest things ive seen too. annoying as hell as a pundit for me, keep him on paperSeanBrennan wrote: ↑22 Mar 2024, 17:33I like him, he writes very well, boxed himself, and has written about the sport for 3 decades.
